No. Good kid who needs to stop smoking that wacky tobbacy. Heart broken who isn't mature enough yet to realize he'll get over her. Needs to realize being annoyed by the paparazzi is a small price to pay for being a world renown and adored entertainer/gazillionaire at 18.
Listen to uncle smegol and don't let if all goto your head. Always listen to your mother no matter how old you are even if girls complain you're a mommas boy. She's a good lady who would never steer you wrong. Try to diversify with a little acting. Read. Remember The Lord.
I have an extremely positive view of the guy, because he's talented - really talented, and I'm not talking "auto-tune talented". My daughters used to be huge fans of his, and when his movie came out, I had to take them to see it at the theater, which meant I had to sit through an hour and a half of his life story. I came out much more impressed than when I went in. As a musician myself, I am always much more impressed with those who can play multiple instruments. This kid is 100% self-taught. He was banging around on coffee cans, in perfect rhythm, at 3 years old. He owns where he is right now. He self promoted himself on YouTube and owes his fame and fortune to himself and a strong mother behind him. Yeah, he eventually signed with Usher, but he was very well known before Usher picked him up. I remember when he was just on YouTube, before he got really popular, and my girls and all their friends were just over the moon for this kid.
Also, as has been mentioned, he does an awful lot of charity work, visits sick kids in the hospital, does a lot of good work that he doesn't have to do - work that he probably doesn't have time to do.
Also, as has been mentioned, he's not really doing anything the rest of us haven't done when we were teenagers, but he's doing it in the public eye. Good grief, I can't imagine what would have been said about me if the paparazzi had been following me around 24/7 when I was a kid.

 Welcome to the forum, Grand Mal.
I have sympathy for him to be honest. He seems like one of the many kids pushed in to the entertainment industry at an age where he wouldn't be able to make a rational choice about it himself and he hasn't been protected enough to keep his feet on the ground. It's the parents, management and yes-men I object to.Can we agree we hate/dislike/loathe/have a negative opinion of Justin Bieber?
The documentary turned me as well. I avoided watching it at first because I figured it was just be an annoying film filled with meaningless nonsense and screaming girls, but after it kept getting good reviews from people other than teenage girls, I decided to watch it. It really impressed me. He's definitely earned his career and most of the people tearing him down haven't done half that he's done in his short life.I have an extremely positive view of the guy, because he's talented - really talented, and I'm not talking "auto-tune talented". Rubbish! Most people couldn't care less either way. The "hatred" is a creation of marketting - the only real question is whether it was created by the media or his management. Only complete morons think they hate someone they've never met.Ah, the hate of justin bieber... the great uniter of mankind.
