Fast forward to 2015/2016 and imagine Sarah Palin runs for President. Would you vote for her in the primary?

All hat, no cattle.

Really, she was a journalism major, talking head is her true calling.

You might as well vote for Glen Beck or Rush Limbaugh. The MSM would have a field day tearing her campaign to pieces.

I live in Oklahoma so I can only vote Democrat or Republican. I wont vote Democrat as long as they are the party who want to make the US into a Central government system.

Heh, you're well over a hundred years late on that score. Glad to hear you would have been a Lincoln voter, though you'd have had to vote republican.

I'm not a right winger though I get accused of that enough that I will take it as a free backstage pass. Yes I would. I love Sarah Palin.

They'll do that with any right winger anyway. Look at what Biden gets a complete pass for.

Got my first taste of the midterms today-- an online ad from the DCCC talking about how Ryan was still going to take away people's medicare. I guess when blaming Bush fails, they have a new Plan B.

What does being "late" on that "score" have to do with anything and what in the being late have to do with NOW. The Democrat Party is the party for the Federal Government to rule in all matters and furthermore is hostile to the Oil Industry which is a major employer in Oklahoma. I do not know what you are talking about Lincoln unless you are referring to his own Centralization of Federal Power but that is history. A least the Republicans do not want everything to be put under the control and overview of the Federal government. If I had my way I would be able to vote Libertarian or at least for the Constitutional Party instead of Dems or Repubs. So if Sarah Palin were the Republican choice on the ballot and the only other choice was Democrat I would vote for Palin if only so I can vote for my choice of representitive for Congress since we only have one ballot and cannot skip an elective office on it other wise it is an invalid ballot.

By the way in the I cannot vote in the Primary since I am not Republican and we have a closed primary system.

The problem is, the Republicans largely want to do the same thing.

No. She shouldn't even think of sticking her little toe in the presidential water. I do like her, but not as a national candidate. She's out of her depth on the national stage. She was dragged in long before she was ready, and the result is an image she can't overcome. National politics is blood sport. She couldn't handle the political pressure in Alaska. What would make anybody think she could handle even that now?

Without knowing the complete primary field I don't see how anyone could answer this any other way than 'I don't know'...?

Maybe its because although you refuse the label....your posts demonstrate that your views are extremely right-wing.

Not after the way she's been villified for the past five years.

it all depends on who she is running against. and who the dems are putting up. Sadly, for the last 7 presidential elections, I have resigned myself to voting for, IMHO, the lesser of two evils. I'd love to have the chance to actually vote for a candidate that I was really excited about for a change.

No, they show that I am extremely anti-federalism. I do not support the federal government forcing people and states to do things that an out of touch elite who think they are morally and intellectually superior decree. No worries the autocratic sheep often make that mistake about me.

Plus I am actually very liberal on a number of issues. I just find that the "progressives" here are too embarrassing to be associated with as a group. At least the conservatives know where they stand and why. The progressives just know what MSNBC tells them to say.

I don't appreciate a one sided poll. It has no place in this forum.

I like S. Palin,.................... I do Not forsee Her running for Potus in 2016 : However " If" I voted for her it would All depend on who her oponents were in the primary and IF I thought Palin , would be the best candidate against the opposition, in the primary and the presidential election.

One-sided polls happen all the time and provide good information. Why would I ask a Democrat who isn't going to vote in the Republican primaries anyway?

What issue are you "liberal" on? I haven't seen a post from you since you've been here that isn't extreme right-wing.

That is true to a large extent, but there are subsets of that party that would oppose it. However, they aren't the one in charge of the Party and are too small of a minority to more than ameliorate Centralization. Because there does exist some subsets of the Republican Party that are aginst that I do not consider the Rpub party in the same way as the Democrat.
