Having actually spent time in England, Liverpool, and spoken with a wide slice of brits from retired to 20 somethings, I envy the British system. When my wife had strep throat we were seen quickly and politely, when we attempted to pay at the end, as we unnecessarily explained we are Americans, the staff said no charge, even for yanks.
back in the states 'quality' healthcare seems a bit much of a claim, long wait times even with an appointment, hurried examinations, mumbled talk of tests, and out the door. Heaven help ya if you don't have insurance, you will spend all day waiting.
Expensive health care I'll agree with. But I guess quality, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder...
