"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" and obama wants to repeat the home loan policies that got us into the financial mess we are now in. Is he insane, stupid, or is he actively trying to destroy America? I vote insane.

"The Obama administration is engaged in a broad push to make more home loans available to people with weaker credit, an effort that officials say will help power the economic recovery but that skeptics say could open the door to the risky lending that caused the housing crash in the first place.
President Obama’s economic advisers and outside experts say the nation’s much-celebrated housing rebound is leaving too many people behind, including young people looking to buy their first homes and individuals with credit records weakened by the recession.
In response, administration officials say they are working to get banks to lend to a wider range of borrowers by taking advantage of taxpayer-backed programs — including those offered by the Federal Housing Administration — that insure home loans against default."

I couldn't answer your poll. Not because I don't think he's any of those choices...but because, at times, he has appeared to be ALL of the choices.

I would have selected an "all of the above" choice.

None of the above. While I disageee with the POTUS on many issues I believe he's trying to accomplish what he thinks is best for the country.

How can repeating the home loan fiasco be good for the country? It was all those sub prime mortgages that got us into this mess.

None of those above.

He is neither insane nor is he stupid.

He is insidious. He HATES the idea of individual liberty and believes that people who believe in that concept are evil and must be controlled. He's sneaky, manipulative, conniving and treacherous...and he has surrounded himself with the same kind of people. They are paranoid. They are narcissistic. They are delusional.

They are an enemy of a free America.

Don't hold back Lutherf, tell us exactly what you think.

IMO he can't be THAT stupid, nor insane.

Interesting that you would accuse him of being paranoid with a statement that overflows with paranoia (.... people that believe in liberty are evil people....[that] ... must be controlled??? Really now?)

Only part right. Lenders beating on failure and selling the loans trying to see that someone's else was holding them when the house of cards fell. The causes are multiple and complicated. If you reduce it to only government actions, you have missed so much to be inaccurate.

I would have as well, he has done his best to destroy the working class. I am seeing cost increases like I have never seen in my lifetime

He is desperate. He cannot control the Senate dems such that they would give him any room to negotiate, and unable to otherwise get anything done, he is forced to only try to do things that do not require legislative approval. The GOP opposition isn't his problem--it is the liberal ideologues like Reid and Pelosi,

You would be more on target if you acknowledged that the Democrats utterly failed for years to operate as an opposition party, part of the real reason we are in today's situation............................

Looters only ever offer more of the poison that got us sick as a solution.

My answer to your poll is not there. It should be all of the above.

Really? For years?

Can you pinpoint those years?

The reason I ask is that I'm not sure they've really had that many years in which they COULD be an opposition Party...at least, when compared to the number of years they were the controlling Party.

Which is further evidence they can be bought. Liberals complain about all the money Bush spent on law and order, but I do not recall New York City or any blue states refusing that money.
