From another state or district or jurisdiction, I mean.

I did once, a long time ago, but I normally don't as I don't see how they would give it much weight.

Once in a while I will.Usually its just my elected officials.
 
I wrote to George Bush when I was in middle school. My friend and I also wrote to Allen West. We were in college in Florida. He hand wrote letters back to us! I am from NJ my friend was from Florida.

I wrote to Scott Walker, Governor of Wisconsin, when he was everybody's demon...congratulating him on taking a stand and wishing him well.
 
Nope. I've only written to mine when a few Army officials were trying to blackmail me. Just hearing about it helped them change their minds.
 
I never wrote to anyone in office. My wife wrote a few people, although I doubt she ever wrote anyone not representing her.
 
I have written both those who purported to represent me, and those who don't. I have received form replies, which prompted the conclusion on my part that I have never written an elected official that represents me.
