Would you vote for a Clinton/Castro ticket in 2016 or would you prefer a different running mate?

Before you say...hey, he's only a Mayor...consider that San Antonio Texas has about 4x the population of Alaska.

I would love to see Castro run and I can easily imagine him are a VP.

Yes, I would vote for them.

Only if the Republicans put up a candidate that makes McCain look like Reagan.

BTW, nice sucker-punch against Palin there, DD. I'd expect nothing less from you.

I started to think about this last night during the Rubio reply. I doubt highly that the Repubs will nominate Rubio for President, however, I DO see them nominating him for VP in an attempt to lure Latinos to vote for their nominee. Perhaps a Christie/Rubio Ticket....especially with the Repubs needing Florida in pretty much any electoral scenario. Castro is a young, dynamic and successful Mayor. He would counter the GOP latino push...and might even put Texas into play (although a long shot...Texas is trending towards being a swing state). Anyway..I know its a long ways off but I thought it presents some interesting gameplays.

Elizabeth Warren in 2016

That would be a fantasy dream ticket for the Mexicans, wouldn't it? Castro loves Affirmative Action because it allowed him to steal a place in college from better qualified Americans and he proudly boats of his strong ties to La Raza, with his mother having been a La Raza activist and organizer.

No thanks. By 2016, America is going to be so sick of the Liberals and their various endlessly braying client groups that the Obama nightmare of 2013 is going to seem like a pleasant memory.

Oh lord... it's 2013. Can we please stop with the election predictions until it's actually time?

Sorry....but if you think for one minute that people aren't already jockeying and positioning themselves right now....then you probably don't belong on a political message board.

I think it'd be more so a Rand/Rubio ticket.

Hey, they can get the RR thing going again.

who were the two people that were trotted out to give a response to the SOU speech
anyone want to bet me good money that neither will be on a campaign bus in 2016?

That's a good ticket for the democrats, but obviously I'm not going to be voting for them ;)
