McConnell is up for re-election in 2014. I never much followed Kentucky Politics, but it would be quite interesting to see a Judd vs. McConnell race for the Senate. No wonder Rove is trying to work his magic there. When it comes to the senate, there is only one person above McConnell that I would want to see defeated more, that is Reid. IMO, both Reid and McConnell put the needs of their party and their parties future way above America's.

You really make me laugh....Another clueless celebrity with no experience sticking he nose in.

Glad I could at least bring a smile to your face. But the fact remains, we have too many Republicans and Democrats running Washington D.C. instead of Americans. There was an old song way back when when I was young that went "It's my Party," That applies to pretty much near all our elected officals in Washington.

As a famous actor once said and I paraphrase: "Are you talking to me."

You must have rounded up some supporters, I see that it's about 2 to 1 against Rand Paul now.

I see that Intrade.com gives Rand Paul a 10% chance of being the GOP nominee in 2016.

You know DP polls always get it wrong....everytime I see a poll here I check what mainstream USA is saying it usually the opposite just like the one about women serving in combat.

The DP polls usually get it right. They may not always agree with what the average US citizen says, but most DP posters tend to be smarter than the average US citizen, and they usually nail what's going to happen... like women serving in combat.

they were already blue but let all the libs move out of California and we can take their ninety some electoral votes.

Arizona has a Republican Governor 2 Republican Senators and voted for Romney???? It is one of the most red states in the country.

You must not follow along much. Colorado, New Mexico and Nevada were all Red States until recently. Now they are pretty solidly blue. As for Arizona. Arizona has been trending blue...despite still being a Red State. There is no way that anyone with any credibility could argue it is one of the most red states. Even Texas is trending towards becoming a swing state due to demographic changes. Why do you thing that the GOP is finally waking up and realizing that the old white male vote isn't going to do it for them anymore?
As for California.....never gonna happen....and the fact that your electoral numbers for California are waaaaay off, is further evidence that you don't know what you are talking about.

Isn't it a bit too early to start campaigning?

Navy:

California will vote for a Republican candidate for President when Pigs fly. The Republicans don't even bother campaigning there any more. There isn't a single Republican elected to any statewide office. In fact, there's only one on the entire west coast.

How is life in cloud cuckoo land?

Ssshhhh! His version of history is so much more comforting for him.

No. Rand Paul has been trying to sound like your everyday republican for months now, I'm not buying his BS. He is too close to his father, and the fact that they are related is just too close to comfort for me. Would conservatives vote for Obama's daughters if they were conservative?? I don't think so! Would Democrats vote for someone named Bush? No. Name brand has some paulbots following Rand, but I think his relationship with his father will kill his career in the end. Ron Paul's recent tweet about Chris Kyle may have done that already.

What are the 3 states? Stern has said he does want to expand so that is out........You really need to do your homework on this if you a Kings fan...

The three were in the post you linked to to start this give and take on the subject. New Mexico, Colorado and AZ.

What needs to be done is you finding any meaning in the Kings leaving. The Kings are not moving to a midwest or southern state noted for low taxes and/or willing to give the store away for a team. Given Washington State's new law allowing you to spark-up the chronic, I'd say that state isn't much better than cali...

If losing an NBA team indicates a loser state then ummmm why does Seattle want the Kings??? Oh yeah, because their team went to OKC FIRST! So using your 'logic' Washington State was a loser first!

Most of the time your reasons for something are very hollow, like blacks abandoning President Obama over the gay issue, or Catholics over Obama care 'forcing' The Church to dole out birth control pills along with the wafer....

I think Paul's dad is politically insane, I fear that it may have rubbed off on his son.

I also was a big fan of Hillary until this Bengazi stuff. If she were to run against Paul I may just not vote. It would be like shooting myself in the left foot or the right foot.

No, it is not like shooting yourself in the left foot or the right foot. In an election, you do not have the option of "neither of the above" like you do in your comparison.

Repubs didn't think so right after the 2008 election, as we dems were to find out later.
Their campaign/sabotauge was very effective in 2010. Dem voters must be "ethnically challenged", as one Repub brain farted recently.
To further shoot themselves in the foot, Dems don't need hard-core Repubs using the social wedge cards to push people away from them as in past decades. We Dems have our fringes also. Do most Americans believe an LGBT family should have health benefits ??
Campaigning is a 24/7/365 business and Dems are still learning that.
If Repubs weren't so divided or stupid, they'd already have the Senate and be moving toward 60 seats.
Isn't it a bit too early to start campaigning?

And Sandusky and governor corbett and joe paterno would help you haze young boys with it.
I would vote for a broomstick over the greatest liar in history.

You ever here of Ronald Reagan... I guess pigs flew when they voted for him.

Since we have no idea who he'd be running against, I couldn't say which way I would vote, I could only see myself voting for him if the other alternative was much worse. Therefore, I can only respond as a straight "do I like this person enough to want them to be President" and my answer is HELL NO!

Well lets hope you will change your mind........If you look at Rand Paul on the issues you will see he is nothing like his father.

So? I think his father is an asshat and he's not much better. Where did you get the idea that not being Ron Paul makes him a decent candidate?

Paul could be running against a skelton for dog catcher....the bones would get my vote !
His philosophy is far too "off the wall"..
may I should run....soon to be senile, anyway:mrgreen:....which will help...
But, I cannot believe that libertarians or conservatives are that far "gone".
