2016 - Biden

Would you vote for Biden in 2016?

  • Total voters
    28
  • Poll closed .
Granted, that always is true, but Biden, in isolation, would you vote for him?

What do you mean by "in isolation"? Like unopposed? Why would it matter then? He'd win anyway.

Like Redress said, the opposition matters.

Biden won't get the nomination unless Republicans turn out in droves to tilt the primaries toward him as a pre-emptive strike.

Against any republican I think likely to run, yes. In the primary, Clinton for sure over Biden. Not sure who else likely to run.

Needed a little more options. I would vote Biden, assuming he won the nomination and the GOP pulls another "Romney".

Someone like Julian Castro, but he seems too young/inexperienced.

Then again, we did elect Obama.

i like Biden as a person, but he's not my first choice for President. in fact, i don't have a first choice. i don't plan to have a first choice until after the election actually begins. i like to at least see platforms before i pick a candidate to support.

So you vote AGAINST people, not for people? Am I understanding you correctly?

I would like to see Castro as a possible VP in 2016. Maybe with Clinton.

From comparison, I would say that Biden is better and more agreeable than Obama. I couldn't vote but definitely would in 2016 (if he runs).

Run Joe Run!

Just about the weakest Democrat I can think of.

I think he would either be a huge success or a dramatic flop. Probably right though, a flop.

Biden has a folksy relatable quality to him. Dennis Kucinich pisses off Republicans and independents like no one's businesses. He's like the Democratic Palin.

I'm independent and I actually like Kucinich a little. Only for his attitude though, not his policies.
As for the OP, I would rather weed eat my nose hairs out than vote for Joe Biden. I'll be voting for another Paul in 2016, if he runs.

I believe you are.

Why is that such a relevation? Do you think lots of people voted for Romney or primarily against Obama?

It shouldn't be a revelation to anyone. Most voters, I think, will vote for the same political party over and over again, and will always find a lesser of two evils rationale convenient.

I imagine a statistically significant number of people would vote for Sarah Palin if she ran, even though no one with above-retard level intelligence should EVER consider such a thing. Similarly, I bet a statistically significant percentage of the left would sooner vote for Charlie Rangel than anybody with an (R) after their name. And all of these auto-voters would single-issue voters would pretty immediately rule out any third party vote because they don't care about voting FOR anyone, just against whoever they're vilifying.

I really don't like how voting third party is lumped in with Romney

Also I wouldn't vote for Biden. I don't think he's a very intelligent person.

I don't think I could ever vote for Biden, if given the choice between Biden and another moron I probably would not cast a presidential ballot.

No, I would not vote for him. Then again, there's a very good likelihood that I won't vote for the Republican candidate either.
