It was just him scoring political points by using the children to get an emotional response from the public.

Ah yes, I guess I'm forgetting about all those photo-ops with kids staged by George Washington to gin up sentimentalist support for his gun ban. :roll:

I can't really vote. It was a normal thing for a President to do but it's something I've always disapproved of, just like if he stood in front of a crowd of old people while talking about medicare. It's just tacky and makes me feel like I'm being spoonfed instead of being treated like an adult capable of comprehending the facts.

Where were the kids when signing the Patriot Act. Sure there are times kids are used as props... but it is socialists who use kids when working to strip our rights.

Socialists use children like... Socialists when trying to erase our rights.

Obama has been quite the dick about using his children in political discussion, and frankly, if I were in the press I would have pressed/hounded his kids for answers... if he wants to bring them into the political debate, then they are fair game.

It was his choice to do it... and only by going to the source may this Socialist learn.

I think those four kids need be asked a few questions too. Let's hear what these props have to say about the assault on our rights. At a bare minimum their parents should be sought out for some Q&A's. First question: Why did you let your son/daughter be used as a prop? Do they have any idea what this is about? Oh, they do... then you wouldn't mind if we ask a few questions of your son/daughter would you?

Seeing as children are used as props, and the Left thinks these are good ideas when seeking to restrict rights... I have a couple ideas for Republicans, and Reagan-Democrats.

1) We should have a few interviews with abortions. OK... most don't live to tell their story, but I think we can speak for them. After all, who really wants to die? Even the worst of kid in some Indian slum would fight for his life.

2) What would be wrong with using children to appeal to parents to stay together... for the good of the children, and to reduce the liberal induced ride towards Gomorrah?

No stripping of rights... and all for the good of the children. Of course, it would harm the Socialist machine... but aren't the children more important?
 
Republicans mad because his executive orders were common sense so they have to latch onto something I guess... why not this?
