Do you think it should be legal? For what purpose?

If you're going to be a true anti abortionist you need to support it ALL the way period no ands or buts about it
Pro Lifers argue that fetuses do have a right to life that outweighs the right of the woman to control her fertility and her life. But many Pro Lifers support exceptions to a ban on abortion in cases of rape, incest, a threat to the woman's life, or even health. This clearly indicates that they believe the right to life of a fetus is negotiable, certainly not absolute or paramount. By compromising their "right to life" definition in order to accommodate a woman's rights, they inadvertently acknowledge that women's rights are more important than the right to life of fetuses therefore making them a pro choicer like me

Abortion should be legal on demand up to 20 weeks gestation. After that, it should only be legal if the mother's life or health are at serious risk by continuing the pregnancy or if the fetus is not viable. There are probably some other grey areas where I'd be okay with abortion after 20 weeks if the mother's health wasn't at risk, but those would be extremely rare, and could be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
Can't really answer the poll.

You're probably right. Legalized murder must be especially delicious for the Enlightened. As defined by Roe v. Wade, it's the law of the land and will stay that way.
If you want a healthy respect for life, we probably shouldn't view having a baby as a consequence. It should be legal in the case of rape, incest, safety of mother/child, or if there is some defect with the fetus. Also, it should be legal if the girl is under the age of 18.
In all other cases, ie if we're talking about an adult woman who is carrying a perfectly healthy fetus and should know better than to go get knocked up without a backup plan, she should not be allowed to haphazardly end a life.
I want to live in a culture that has a healthy respect for life, and a sense of personal responsibility.
I completely agree that any woman--or man for that matter--has full right to do what they want to their own bodies, but the argument from most pro-lifers is that the fetus is not the woman's body.Legal upon request...... Its the woman's body, she should do what she wants with her own body.

Here we go, the bi-monthly regurgitation of the "Should Abortion Be Legal?" poll. Don't you guys get tired of debating this? I don't think I've heard one person change their mind or concede on an abortion argument in over a year of being on this website. Pretty sure it won't happen now. The only people these polls attract are 1) Noobs 2) Haters 3) People who make fun of people for recycling threads (me).
