Who is MORE to blame for Americas problems?

That's a tough question.


Government is mighty fracked-up and has been for a long time. They're too afraid to address real problems with real solutions and keep putting Band-Aids on blood-spurting arterial lacerations.

OTOH I've come to know a lot of mediocre-to-crappy parents, and a few genuinely horrible ones, but a lot of parents just seem to be well-meaning but lazy, guilty of being over-indulgent and under-parental.

I guess I vote Both.

What problems are we talking about, specifically.
 
Parents/adults for electing people with poor leadership into the government
 
This I think would apply for the false dichotomy cognitive trap that we so often told about. There are so many issues that have so many causes behind them that offering only this two unsupported choices among all so many others seems bizarre.

Which of the two will bring world peace:

a) Us

b) Them
 
Government.

They make laws that parents have to abide by, like it or not. Not that some parents aren't horrendous on their own, but when they are told they cannot discipline their own children for fear of governmental retribution, then the onus falls directly on the government.
 
What about government employed parents. Maybe we should just get rid of them and largely solve our problems.

Under this dichotomy parents are not allowed to be in government. Can't be both it is a dichotomy (i.e., either/or). So staff there are either male gay men (can't be parents organically), or have decided never to be married again and remain truthful/faithful (and married) to the government much like a catholic priest does.
