I know, ... how much do I smoke to ask this question ... but ... knowing that we have no photo albums and T-shirts from before we are born and after we die, ... maybe you all can take a trip to answer what happened to you at that time. I put up a poll to help but you don't have to follow it, use what you know/guess about your own history. This would be sooo interesting. To start, let me write in mine.

I head a bunch of easy passings into life, in a careless way, like many options were available. This was for a long time. More recently, there was a competition for life, like a reduction of opportunities. Then, I was asked by a very high-spirited "party"-like group, that I turned down. (Stupidly.) After that there was no opportunity for a while, until later I was offered ONE, but someone gesumpted me out of it really quick after everything was already arranged. Then I was "ordered" to do it already "or else", so I pushed for it and had to stong-arm a few fellows to get into this life that I currently have. No wonder it changed a few times unexpectedly, like it is not really mine. Some others are likely pissed off with me.

What may be interesting is that I can correlate my above experiences with officially published historic population count data in the Mediterranian region, for the past few 1000 years.

So, what is your story/interpretation?

I am not sure exactly what is being asked, but I got my life because my mother did not believe in abortion I suppose.

I understand the OP but think it was poorly worded. I happen to believe in reincarnation so I was put here.

I made a deal with my parents before I was born, and promised them I would try my best to be a good daughter, if they would give me a body to live in. ;)

I think my parents were in heat and conception followed. Once here I tried to hang on to the tit as long as possible, but they are harder to find after you get in your sixties. In between, I was pretty much manic 90% / depressive 10% until about age 40 and got lots of crap done. High mileage and misuse/overall abuse of the soul sack wore me down, and so I just chased women and felt obliged by my inner drives to do so and would continue to do so, but you can have all the women you can afford and I can't afford so many anymore. Now I worry about global warming and energy/environmental issues but lack the manic drive of my youth. I analyzed that as other.

I don't understand what is being asked. Please clarify.

Same here.

Okay, maybe I can put some clarification here. From all indications, life starts at birth, but we are inside those bodies that are born, we are not those bodies themselves. If we were those bodies themselves, then for example we would not recognize our own past pictures without being told that it was us, and more importantly, we would not recognize any of our own sentiments whether they are past or future aspirations, in other words, we would not have the CONCEPT of time. Everything that is formed, be it people or animals or manufactured goods, have a sequence of events that leads to their formation, so their existence is present in that sequence, before they are formed. In this thread, my question is how you experienced the sequence of events that led to your formation.

LMAO ab9924, we need to hangout sometime man, I imagine trips with you would be all intellectual and philosophical and ****.

...um, how does one even answer this question?

I disagree.

Of course we would, human beings have the capacity for long term memory, and time isn't a concept, it's a scientific fact. If a person has no concept of time, they are defective.

My parents ****ed, and I was conceived. I did not exist before conception, and I will no longer exist after death.

Use your imagination ... a lot of times it comes from somewhere, not from a random place.

Oh, OK.

After conquering much of the Demon World, I was left in a terrible state of health after beheading the Demon King Dorgalua in a drawn-out fight to the death. Apparently, apparently, I died within a vast mystical pentagram etched into the floor of Dorgalua's throne room. Looks like souls trapped within that medium can be transported to other worlds—including rebirth, or so the story goes...

I disagree.

Are you making this statement on a mathematical basis?

I disagree.

Everything here except that for me my parents wanted a boy and after going through one miscarriage they had me.

It took WWII and Catholic parents. I loved miniature army soldiers as a child. I knew it was no coincidence.

This life was a summation of my previous existences. My next life will be a summation of this life and previous existences. It is mathematical and perfectly balanced with my previous existences. A formula-driven life.

As an addendum. You know that if you don't squirt a little life here and a little life there that there will be no life. A drip here, a teaspoon there, Voila! Life! Without which no life. Screw the math. Screw the philosophy. Screw the logic. Who passes on the life? You or me? Do yourself a favor and give the gift of life.

I used to eat mushrooms too.

There was no “me” before my brain was significantly developed enough to manifest a mind. Who I am, that mind, is a product of genetics and experiences, all of which could have played out in a countless number of ways. If each gene and each experience is a card in a huge deck, then I just happen to be the hand that was dealt.
