If Obama is impeached

If obama is impeached should romney be seated as president

I think you are right about a new election, I wonder who the Dem's would run, not Hillary thats for sure she's up to her beady eyeballs in this.

I don't think there was any fraud, I just think the question raised was a good one, and worthy of discussion. No president and VP has ever been disqualified simultaneously due to voter fraud, so it would create an interesting case for sure.

Who IS this woman???

If obama is impeached for something he did before the election that would have made him lose if it had come out should Romney be seated as president in his place?

Try reading the U.S. Constitution - the one you guys on the Right claim to respect and love.

all you have to do is provide the proof that Obama rigged the election and then we will entertain the validity of your further claims.

This may be A) the dumbest poll and B) the dumbest discussion ever. And I know, that encompasses a lot of really stupid discussions. What planet do these folks live on?

And all that you have to do is expand your mind enough to realize that this is a hypothetical scenario. It could be applied to anyone, anytime, even a future election.

What would happen if this DID happen in some future election? What should happen?

You are being incredibly ignorant of our system of government. It doesn't matter who ran against the sitting president. That is a moot point because if he loses then he becomes a private citizen. The outcome of the election would not change because it already happened, so guess what? The Vice President would take over which in this case would be Joe Biden.

How is that so hard to comprehend?

2 problems.

1: The election results are continueally being adjusted. Even now they are going through the votes to find any errors. If fraud was found then those votes would be thrown out and the electoral votes adjusted accordingly.

2: Obama has not been sworn in for his second term yet. He is not technically President for the next 4 years until January 20, when he is sworn in.

This is not mind expansion. It's a right wing circle jerk.

It has nothing to do with right wing or left wing. I believe that it has been established that Obama and Romney were not the ones that HAD to be used to put forth this question, they were just the convienent ones to use.

Plus I'm not a part of the right wing. Sorry to burst your bubble. My past posting history has proven this over and over.

1) The election is over.

2) Obama is technically the President-Elect if you want to go down that road.

You CANNOT have a private citizen assume the role of president no matter what the circumstance is...understand how things work. Romney could not and would not EVER be president. I know you want that to happen despite this being "hypothetical"

Excellent point! If it were found that obama was hiding an impeachable offense to get reelected and he has not been sworn in for his second term yet when this fact comes out the plot thickens.

1: Only election DAY is over. They are still going over the votes.

2: Obama is only President Elect so long as the votes continued in his favor.

3: I did not vote for Romney. See, I didn't really care who became President because I think that they are both very bad for this country. I was more interested in who controlled both the Senate and the House. I wanted those two institutions to be polar opposites for the simple fact that with a crappy President (no matter who was elected) I want it to where nothing major would get done. Like passing the Patriot Act or Obamacare. Nice try in trying to fling the partisan mud though.

Edit: One more thing. Technically the President IS a Private Citizen.

Obama has a three million vote lead and clearly won this election. You can say what you want despite the facts in front of your face.

The votes are in his favor...get over it.

I agree that both are bad for the country. I proudly voted for Gary Johnson. I was only interested in a few races. The way you were speaking made it out to be very partisan on your part. This question is nonsense though. Completely nonsense because we do have a way of going down a chain of command...from President, to VP, to Speaker of the House.

Technically we're all private citizens...the president is part of the public sector.

I was over it before the election.

Bold: And that has only been used for established Presidents, ones that were sworn in and was not elected by fraudulant votes. We have nothing in the Constitution about what happens to someone that was elected but not sworn in yet (for this scenario). It also doesn't take into account a President that never would have been President if it hadn't been for voter fraud.

Don't get me wrong, I love our Constitution and defend it quite emphatically. But it does have a few flaws.

Technically we're all private citizens...the president is part of the public sector.

Actually those in the military are not considered private citizens.

He was also disbarred. Lying under oath is not acceptable, even if one is a democratic president.

Biden should be elevated into Presidency, as is the way things work in politics.

Who IS this woman???

For those on the West Coast, Marion Cotillard is due to appear on CBS' Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson tonite.

You mean like how they gave the presidency to McGovern after the whole Watergate thing came out? Oh, wait.

All I can say is - meaningless dreams of Republican/conservatives.
