What do you think. I personally believe it is worse then the Watergate scandal.........At least no one was murdered.

It's definitely worse than Watergate but that isn't saying too much.

The press has been pretty upfront in ignoring anything negative about Pres. Obama, including this incident, so I don't really see where this will make much of a difference. Todd Akin, who no one had ever heard of until this summer, has been given far more attention for a rambling comment he retracted almost immediately. I think that says it all.

Like with Watergate, it is the cover-up that is going to doom them.

I wish, as he is partially responsible for their murder, and therefore is one, but no.... He will likely unfortunately win

I think it will help. It's just one more straw on the camel's back.

As far as it being "as bad as the Watergate Scandal." No. If Republicans outside Fox (especially Romney) push it too much or in the wrong way it will blow up in their face.

Fact is, Obama's statements fit the reports given by the CIA agencies beneath him at any given point in time. All he has to do is produce the documents and any argument against him is destroyed and discredited.

Secondly, it can't be even remotely comparable to the Watergate Scandal because the Administration hasn't delivered its report. For all we know, someone will be found guilty of negligence or incompetence and offered up as a sacrificial lamb, or at least, mistakes made in and out of the Administration will be acknowledged. That's opposed to the Nixon Administration, which hid everything with the president's knowing.

No.

For so many reasons.

I believe it could take him down if it gets so hot that the media has to cover it. Right now they are pretty much ignoring it because they in the bag for Obama.

Yeah, that's why they're ignoring it.

More likely it is a ploy to capture a wider share of the independent market in weeks to come. As I understand it, Fox has cornered the conservative market so effectively that it was starting to moderate its message a little to come across as more credible to independents. The incidence of the Libya attack so close to the election, powered by the conspiracy machine of Internet right-ring "journalism", drove them to start covering the incident the way they have. The short term viewership increase, plus the political gains for their network, was to tempting to pass up, independents or not.

Nobody else has that motivation, and they can use it against Fox in the ratings war later.

The "scandal" is manufactured, and obviously so. It's a mere dogwhistle to the faithful.

Worst than Watergate? You act like Obama actually orchestrated this. What nonsense.

He obviously didn't orchestrate the attacks.

However, he knowingly let American's die when he could have given the order to save them.

That's treason.

I would say that is a little more serious then Watergate.

Its called the cover up for political purposes my left wing friend.

It's called unfounded conspiracy theories in a desperate effort to bring down Obama at the height of the election year, my right wing friend.

Seems like they said the same thing in the Nixon Wateergate scandal and we know what happened then.........The media went on a feeding frenzy but that might be before your time.

How the hell is this worse then Watergate?

How is this worse then a President who orchestrated numerous illegal acts at the same time knowing they are illegal acts and then attempted to cover them up less worse then an incident where terrorists managed to kill an ambassador and his staff?

Discussing Benghazi, Pat Caddell says the press has "been in the tank on this in a way I've never seen... I am appalled right now. This White House, this President, this Vice President, this Secretary of State, all of them, are willing apparently to dishonor themselves and this country for the cheap prospect of getting reelected...willing to cover up and lie. The worst thing is the very people who are supposed to protect the American people with the truth - the leading mainstream media...they have become a threat, a fundamental threat to American democracy and the enemies of the American people... these people have no honor... cover-up is too nice of a word..."

Democrat Pat Caddell's comments in this clip are powerful and really nail the media, President Obama and his administration for not being honest with the American people.

Obama could lose the election but it will have nothing to do with the "libya scandal" because currently there isnt a scandal. If that changes im sure a new poll will come out.

LOL @ Gloria thats funny

but unless laws were broken theres no real scandal, even if there was some shadiness or some cover up will it win or lose the election? I seriously doubt it.

People that are going to vote for Obama will stil vote for him unless laws were broken, people that were going to vote for mitt still do either way.
