I expect Obama will do much better Tuesday night in the town hall format he can't do worse but Romney will still school him. What do you think?

Navy, I hate to say this, but I think Obama will take it....unless he overcompensates for his poor performance in Debate #1...then he could come off looking the arrogant fool. But if he's on point? If he's done his homework and the air's not too thin? I think he'll probably walk away the winner.

Probably Obama. I don't expect him to lose two in a row. Of course, winning a debate has a lot to do with style and little to do with substance.

Agreed Maggie. Obama knows a second lousy outing will doom him barring another secret Romney tape even worse than the 47% one. He has to win and he knows it. And he will.

I don't believe that Obama has ever faced a debater like Romney.....No teleprompter Obama loses.

What many fail to realize is that Obama will have to rely on saying the right things in the right way (which will be difficult for him considering his record) but Romney needs only to be who he is and say what he believes and he will prevail. If not in the debate assessment, then at the polls.

Romney FTW!

Prediction: Republicans will insist Romney won, Democrats will insist Obama won.

In the end the race will be completely unaffected.

I hope you really do not believe that. It is beyond naive.

I think Romney will win. It all depends on the questions and whether the questioners are biased or not This is supposedly a format with the questions being asked by a group of undecided voters. How they get picked, I don't know.

Off teleprompter, Obama becomes who he is. I think he is so ideological that it is difficult for him to outright lie. Romney is generally who he is.

Social issues tend to be Obama's strong points, so I think he will take this one.

Sure did not happen that way in the last debate.

When a third party is included so we don't have to listen to only two crocks of ****, we will have progress.

I think it'll basically be a draw, which is equivalent to a win for Romney.

Romney is not going to be able to get away with all the same lies and flip flops that he did in the last one. THAT was our biggest frustration with Obama....how he could sit there and let Romney lie through his teeth and not call him out on it. Hopefully Obama learned his lesson, because I suspect that Romney will once again pull out his entire bag of lies.

A third party never has and never will win the presidency in this country.

Is that all you got DD?? Obama can't beat Romney in a debate so just call him a liar.......Pretty pathetic.

In all likelihood, I think Obama will probably win. If he improves at all, which he basically can't NOT do, then the perception will be that he was amazing, by comparison to his first performance. Basically, he set the bar so low last time that he's essentially guaranteed to look great this time.

On the other hand, my personal hope is that people will be expecting him to improve so much this time, that his actual performance will be perceived as disappointing compared to the expectations people had in mind.

But yeah, I think he'll probably win it by a fairly small margin.

Well McCain was so sure of himself in the town hall format and got smashed so we will see I suppose.

History my friend......No third party candidate has ever come close.

Ross Perot came pretty close. He was leading in the polls before he dropped out in '92. It's unlikely any given year we'll have a third party president, but I wouldn't say never.
