Who Won?

Who won tonight's debate?

TGND thinks Biden will wipe the floor with Ryan and I think the very opposite. I just think it's gonna be an entertaining debate. :)

I agree with you. I can't imagine Biden wiping the floor with anything except a mop.

(Sorry. The devil made me do it.)

I would say Mitt Romney generally came across as more confident and better prepared for the debate, but Obama probably got better soundbites to use in attack ads. I'm not sure it was a good idea for Romney to express his bewilderment about Obama's claim that businesses can get tax breaks for shipping jobs overseas, by joking that maybe he needs to hire some better accountants.

Overall, the whole debate was a waste of two hours of my life. Fortunately I wasn't expecting very much in the first place.

Honestly last time around I thought he wiped the floor with Palin, but obviously that's not saying much. Ryan will indeed be a much more formidable opponent even if I think half of the stuff that comes out of his mouth is complete BS.

But not in a 7/11 since he's not Indian. Right, Buffoon Biden?

Big Bird needs to get a job and stop relying on the taxpayers to pay his way. :)

Big Bird is owned by Disney and isn't hurting for money by any stretch of the imagination.

By a NOSE? Were you watching the same debate I was?

I'm also looking forward to Ryan v. Biden. :)

In terms of "executive presence" he got off to a bad start, then enjoyed a resurgence. After that, they drifted toward the middle and stayed there until the end.

Sesame Street is owned by Disney? I didn't know that...

I don't understand, what's so great about ryan v biden? Or do y'all just wanna watch it because you ladies think Ryan is hot?

Nope. I happen to think Biden is a huge joke and I'm looking forward to the slaughter. :)

So who is the person who voted that Obama won? That's some serious blinders right there.

According to the NFL replacement officials, the clear winner of this first presidential debate was... Ross Perot!

I'd have to admit Romney won that one. He was very well composed and wasn't running circles around questions nearly as much as Obama did.

Thought Romney did better.
When discussing the role of govt. Romney started by mentioning the Constitution. nice place to start from.

The whole Henson group is.
I don't think Disney owns Sesame Street. It owns the Muppets and some other stuff.

Edit: I see you corrected yourself. Never mind.

romney looked presidential

he also came out swinging and had Obama on his heels most of the night

still think Obama made better arguments, but i was/am biased toward those (or more precisely, against mitt's) before the debate

since one had to win and the other had to lose, romney won this round
