The pointless partisan political hack messages cease after the election? They just strike me as messages by exorbitantly weak-willed, no-mind sheeple.
They didn't before. There is no reason to believe they will after.
I dunno. I felt that after the election in 2008 it died down considerably. And on Whistlestopper in 2004, it was really bad and then after a month things went back to how they were before election season. Granted, this is a particularly polarized election, but aside from a handful of hackjobs who never shut up about anything, I think the most part things should calm down.
Back in 2008, things remained pretty intense for about 2 months. Then things died down a bit... however, anytime ANY issue came up, things would escalate to near pre-election intensity again. I remember when Obamacare was on the voting block and got passed. The hackery around here was just as bad as during the 2008 election. At least one long-time poster had a meltdown and got banned.
That whole Avengers line just flashed into my head, where Hawkeye says says to black widow "You and I remember Budapest very differently "
I honestly don't remember those flare ups. But then again I was deep in my CPA exam so that's probably why I don't recall that. Anywho we can hope and pray it's not a blood bath after the election.
