There are dozens of dictators all over the world, many who are worse than Saddam. It certainly wasn't worth the cost. More Iraqis have died in insurgent attacks since we came in in 2003 than under Saddam.
AMEN! People just can't comprehend this. These meaningless wars and the terrorist threat are fabrications designed to further private agendas. Would we not be far better off if we just worried about ourselves and protected our own borders? Not Israel, not Iraq, but the United States of America. The USA is who the USA should protect. How it got to be that we need to worry about Israel and put Israel's needs ahead of Americans is beyond me.
Imagine that after desert storm we never involved ourselves over there. Add up all the money spent on this crap since after desert storm and add it back into our economy as if we never spent it. Bring back all of the soldiers as if they'd never died. We have nothing to prove and I'm quite certain nobody cares to challenge our military superiority so besides the trillions we would have saved and the lives we wouldn't have lost, WHAT WOULD BE DIFFERENT? Saddam would still be there (oh no jeez) Bottom line is that the only real differences are all positive and the negatives are all inconsequential. I don't care about Israel and after 911 and the USS Liberty we can surmise that they really don't like us either. I don't care if they all blow eachother up - those are decisions THEY have to make.
Now how do we change out congress? They don't listen to us anymore and the way they deceptively pass bills that are unlawful and unconstitutional- THEY GOTTA GO!! I'm telling you if we let this continue we are just begging for trouble.
