Define "the other candidate"? I am neither a dem nor a Rep. I do not support one candidate or the the other. Sure, I will vote for Romney, but that is not actually support. But from my outside view, that is because Obama is a failure, supports policies I do not like and has acted in an unconstitutional way, not because I like, support or even believe in Romney. I am not a Libertarian, so I don't really support their candidate. Other than that, what little I know about the other "independents" are that they are mostly supporters of even greater measures from the left or right in one specialized area or another.
There are no candidates supporting an agenda with my beliefs. The right has more than the left in some cases, but then, most of the left are, imo, socialists. A philosophy that I find offensive, contrary to natural order and a great evil that is the enemy of mankind. I actually support quite a few ideas and goals of the left, however, their current trend of using socialism, or a derivative there of, to meet those goals means that I cannot, in anyway, support them. The ends do not justify the means, and if you use the wrong means, you don't get the ends that you desire.
