Sex education would have taught them how to use condoms. But in some areas, the schools refuse to teach anything but abstinence if they teach anything about sex at all.

we live and let others live or die or whatever they want to do... we do what we want to do ... if we are ignorant we pay for it... we can not force people and put a gun to their heads to do the right thing...that's what democracy is all about.

Yes but don't expect people to know everything they need to know without an education. If their parents aren't educated theres a good chance their kids aren't either. Some kids don't even know you can get pregnant from having sex.

It doesn't matter. Welfare, food stamps, unemployment, medicaid, unions have been artfully sold to many Americans as handouts to lazy, undeserving Blacks, Hispanics and minorities.

Romney knows he doesn't have the Black, Hispanic and perhaps now even the womens vote so he's pandering to shore up the only base he has left, the white male conservatives, especially those in the deep southern confederate states who consistantly vote by wide margins for the GOP...and they love those coded buzzwords and dog whistles cuz it gits em all riled up.

Welfare president, foodstamp president, Muslim, Kenyan, not born in the US, extremist, un-American, radical, angry, take back America, etc. are all buzzwords intended to make Obama appear as the "other" and remind people that he is black. So when Romney says that nobody asked to see his birth certificate or that Obama is gutting welfare reform there is little doubt who he's pandering that ol time southern strategy to.

I have not seen the evidence, however, many times numbers can be skewed to show a particular perspective as we all know. When I saw the word "lazy" I need that term qualified
