The U.S. Government at the highest levels: Friends or Foes?

I had to vote "Friend", not just because I think the government is my friend (and I do), but because I also wanted to make sure that the poll results continue to resemble a penis and two testicles.

Do you part, or else one of the berries will continue to look a little misshaped.

I disagree. Not voting doesn't compare to an actual vote that says "none of the above." For example Romney gets 19%, Obama gets 19% and "none of the above" gets 62%. End of discussion.

They don't want us to vote. So not voting will do nothing. We ARE headed for a REV-----------------------OLUTION, that is.

I know this sounds just, absolutely incredibly unbelievable, but Obama is the lesser. Please don't vote Romney.

On what planet - in what parallel dimension - does our government ever manage to function along the same span of thought?

Every few years they're swapped out and replenished - part of our nation's problem (ok - so I believe it's more than just a part) is that things keep changing and we can't decide what we are or what we want and need.

We're like a gigantic nation sized pair of funky flip flops.
 
Foes for sure. If you act against our Constitution, you should be locked up for life for treason. So that is almost all of our government.

Hardly. The government is without a doubt a foe, but a document from the 1700s shouldn't be the basis for our country's values.

I completely agree that it needs to be revised, but until that happens we have this one.
 
I don't know what you mean by friend or foe but I think our country is one of the most moral country.

I think our country bends over backwards not to hurt people but sometimes that is unavoidable.
