Hey, look, it's obvious you are a dedicated feminist and, really, truly, that's adorable.

But the men are talking here.

Tell you what - why don't you go bake something, and stop worrying your little head about these kinds of things? That'll make you feel better, eh?

It's a big scary world out there, full of dangerous animals and loud, scary machines that they don't understand. It's much safer in the kitchen. :lamo

I really hope that tigger doesnt truly believe that and is just pulling everyones chain...

Ever heard of Ching Shih?

View attachment 67132545

Famous Chinese pirate. Fought and kicked the ass of the British, the Portuguese and the Chinese empires. Commanded one of the largest pirate fleets in history, 80,000 men women and kids and almost a 2000-strong fleet of ships. Castrated her male pirates who committed rape against the people in the villages she sacked. One of the few pirates to ever retire. She was an objectively better pirate than Blackbeard, Captain Kidd, Black Bart or any of those "pirate" doofuses.

And this was back when women were basically required by law to be dumb and subservient; Ching Shih said "F that!" and made her own way. Women have every trait needed to be effective leaders.

I learned something new today, thank you. I've served under female Soldiers of substantially higher rank, and I've had female bosses and supervisors. Some were good, some were bad, no different than male leadership, really. Honestly, if it were just directives on paper, I wouldn't be able to tell if they were written by a man or a woman. The whole "kinder and gentler" thing doesn't make sense to me, though, because in Korea during my first room clearing exercise, it was my squad leader who told me to make sure every "hadji" was dead. She was very stern about it, too. The gender doesn't matter to me, their skills and knowledge do. Just as with anybody else.

Imagine all the claws coming out.

Men have much stronger sex drives and desire to control/conquer then women do. Instincts that helped us greatly during human origins.

Women generally have more humane/nuturing instincts (always exceptions of course).

These instincts left over from 'caveman' days make men usually terrible as politicians; they are so easily corruptible by lust and desire for power/control. Women are definitely corruptible - but usually less so then men.

I don't think it should be a law that men cannot serve as politicians.

But - even though I am a man - I do think women would make FAR better political leaders then men.

And I think men make far better (better meaning more successful) business leaders then women. Business is all about greed. Greed is good in business. And men are better at that then most women.

But greed is bad in politics.

And to all you misogynists that disagree with me?

Don't bother wasting both our times trying to debate this with me - because I AM right.

Ohhh...and have a nice day.

And if you disagree - you ARE wrong.

What kind of nonsense is this?

You automatically assume that those who disagree with your illogical assertions are misogynistic?

Ahhh no....try reading it again.

I said 'And to all you MISOGYNISTS".

The very first sentence clearly states that - that was not clear enough for you?

I did not say everyone who disagrees with me IS a misogynist.

If I meant that I would have said - 'To ANYONE who disagrees with me, you are a misogynist'.

I swear, people on here read a sentence and instead of just taking it at face value - twist it in their mind to mean what they want it to mean.

I said - in essence - to all those that happen to be misogynists that disagree with me.

I said nothing about those who are not misogynists who disagree with me.

But they would be wrong also - they just are not misogynists.

I swear people on here should take reading comprehension tests before posting...no offense.

You made it seem as though those who disagreed with you were misogynists.

Having read more of your posts, it's unlikely you're going to be intellectually honest in this discussion, so it's probably best to leave it at that.

Whatever.

Hear, hear.

I say let' them have a shot, they ruled the Olympics this year! They certainly can't do any worse than the men have done at ruling the world.

Fortune 500 List Boasts More Female CEOs Than Ever Before

The 2012 ranking of the 500 largest corporations in the United States includes a record 18 firms helmed by female CEOs, up from 12 companies in 2011.

“The good news is that while we have 18 today, there’s a pipeline of women coming into leadership positions that’s very, very deep and very, very wide,” Mehta said. “There are women sitting just below the CEO position at these Fortune 500 companies and many of them are poised to lead Fortune 500 companies when there are openings and movement.”

Though Silicon Valley is often described as a boys’ club where female CEOs are few and far between, the two largest Fortune 500 corporations run by women are both in the tech industry: Hewlett-Packard, which ranked 10th on Fortune’s list and named Meg Whitman CEO last fall, and IBM, which ranked 19th and has been run by Ginni Rometty since January.

Yes but they make less...approx 20% less....this is from Forbes a right wing site...Im sure theres other opinions from the left as to why

Why Do Women Still Earn Less Than Men? Analyzing the Search for High-paying Jobs

Why do women continue to earn less money than men — approximately 20% less, according to some estimates — and what can be done about it?
At least half the pay gap reflects the fact that women tend to work in different kinds of occupations and industries than men, a phenomenon known as “gender segregation.” Understanding the causes of that gender segregation is a key part of any attempt to address the pay differential.
Wharton management professor Matthew Bidwell and Roxana Barbulescu, a management professor at McGill University in Montreal, set out to understand the causes of gender segregation by taking a different approach than studies that typically look at variances in the kinds of jobs that men and women choose, or at the decisions made by employers during the job application process.

Men have pretty much proven they can't pilot this ship. They had tens-of-thousands of years at the helm and it seems we're all on the Titanic. Either we've already hit the iceberg, or we're on a collision course.

Isn't it about time we throw in the towel? perhaps let somebody different have a try?

Who better to "clean up the mess" men have made? :3oops:

Change? You want change?

Put the ladies in charge.

On every level of government. From the POTUS right down to the mail room janitor and every place in between.

Fill every office, every cabinet position, and every seat in congress with females.

Could they really do a worse job then the men have done?
Sure, why not...have it ladies.

The fact the men have "traditionally" ruled since the dawn of time has nothing to do with the abilities of today's women to do a better job then the men have.
Queen Elizabeth, Margret Thatcher, Indira Gandi, Golda Meir....all ruled like men. No difference.

I would prefer not to have a major war every fourth week, thanks.

Did they have an entire cabinet and supporting crew of ladies as well? Or was it one woman on top, but EVERYTHING underneath her was all men (as usual)?

Have you seen a group of all women in action? It does not work out to well. Besides it had nothing to do with there ability to rule or govern.

Just admit your hatred of all things male and move on.
