With Secret Order, Obama Enters US in Syrian Civil War

With Secret Order, Obama Enters US in Syrian Civil War | Common Dreams

The news will not be received well by those calling for a diplomatic solution in Syria or those who caution against further US military intervention in the region.
"Syria’s war is erupting in a region still seething in the aftermath of the U.S. war in Iraq and the sectarian legacies it left behind," says Phyllis Bennis, a director at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington. "The fighting is also now taking on an increasingly sectarian form – and the danger is rising of Syria becoming the center of an expanded regional war pitting Sunni regimes in Saudi Arabia and Qatar against Shi’a-dominated governments in Iran and Iraq."

Why are we supporting insurrection?

We are supporting a Sunni opposition, often named Al Queda, Why?

Didn't Syria help us during the Iraq War by harboring millions of Iraqi refugees?

Was Kofi Annan's peace effort sabotaged by the US?

Are we, once again, the supporters of chaos, mayhem, and death?

I've found it difficult to answer these types of questions without being labeled a "conspiracy theorist".

Oh boy. Another link to a left wing hack site. So interesting and exciting.

This thread has been chosen for you. If there is any justification in attacking Assad, you have the opportunity to voice what you consider the real issues. Just identify a few links showing how evil, corrupt, oppressive, and demonic that Assad is. Show why the fact that he has allowed refugee status for Palestinians and Iraqis makes him such a pariah. Put up a link showing why his friendship with his neighbor, Iran, is detrimental to us. Give us just a smidgeon of justification for our policy of chaos, mayhem and death upon the Syrian people. What do you think the "color" revolutions are? Are you so naive or brain sponged that you think these are spontaneous uprisings by local rebels? Infiltration by terrorists is what is happening, and we are funding and supplying weapons, lobistics and communications on the ground. I'm just asking you to tell me why it is OK to kill a bunch of Syrians. That seems simple enough, don't you think? Let's talk about this. No wars, no jobs. Keep in mind that war is good business and the Pentagon is the largest energy purchaser in the world. Also weapons. Also ammunition. Also communications. etc., etc., etc.

You should have the option in there for, "frankly I don't have a clue, makes no sense."

Obama's behaviour is not much better than the chimp-in-chief and inventor of the GWShiiteForBrains Great Depression, don't you think? I'll vote Green.
