I really deeply love a few. I think I probably love a few more. I like alot of peeps, and then there are those whom I don't really feel any way about either way.

If you're asking how we feel about Americans vs other nationalities, I would, of course, side with my countrymen first and foremost.

Non-lefties--friends, Americans, Countrymen

Lefties, aka liberals, socialist, commies, progressives, enviromentalist, anti-gun nuts, etc-- Enemy, domestic, issue--1ea.
 
It would take some very salient, foreign invasion/transgression to unite me with the majority of my countrymen. Because we are not faced with this though, I can pick some legitimate fights with--and put up some reasoned defenses against--my own neighbors/countrymen, mostly because so many of them have a such a fluid concept of property, and think soft things like "fairness" or "need" should determine personal boundaries. This is worth the fight to defend the boundaries, and in general I don't "feel good about those peeps."

How could I speak generally about over 7 million people, most of whom I know absolutly nothing about? More to the point, why should I?

How can a man not "like" this one.
As for me - "peeps" are cute little things , baby chickens..
I have known both the good and the bad...IMO.
Is it possible for a hater of the colored to be good, otherwise ?
Or, is there any good at all in a hater of people, a mass murderer, a misanthrope ??
A blind patriot I am not...there are probably nations on this little orb with better people..
 
It's a large country. If they are productive and just trying to support their families, I like them just fine. Actually, I prefer them to the professional "welfare rats" that don't want to work and feel that the system owes them something. One must still acknowledge reality and recognize that our own circumstances are often the result of chance, good fortune, and being born in a relatively benign time and place on the planet. Many people like to take credit for simple luck.
 
Marshmallow peeps are my favorite, then Liberals, Moderates, Libertarians, and Conservatives to round out the group. I like people. Many of my very close friends are staunch Conservatives politically. I don't use religion, color, sex, or political lean to determine who I like. That would be silly. E pluribus unum my fine fearthered friends.

Generally when you call someone a "welfare rat" or "racist white imperialist" it means they are hated enemies.

I don't think you guys answer truthfully.

No, it doesn't. To hate someone implies that you have (or at least should have) some personal knowledge and experience regarding that individual. Calling someone a welfare queen or a racist bigot is a generalization based on opposition to your own views and feelings regarding a behavior, but doesn't imply that you hate someone.
 
I like anyone who isn't a hateful, racist, homophobic, anti-Semitic, bigot.

so as long as you're not a jerk and let folks be...we iz cool.
 
In my 40 years of living in this great country, I can honestly say I have liked more of the people I have met than disliked. It takes an awful lot for me to dislike someone and my list of hated people that I know and have met can be counted on one hand. I have no problem disagreeing with someone and still calling them friend. In fact, I will say I don't know of a single friend who agree's with everything I believe in or vice versa.

Whether we like em or not they are still our Fellow Countrymen.
 
I did not generalize. Professional "welfare rat" meant exactly that. I've known many people on welfare that don't fit that description.

Being a mild diabetic, I have to be very sparing in my consumption of sugary confections. Peeps are really rather bland, just a bit of marshmallow with some colored sugar on the outside, and not much flavoring. Given how sparing I must be at eating such things, I'd rather save it for more flavorful and satisfying confections. I'm rather partial to licorice.

but as far as people in this country, as long as they aren't hateful bigots, racists, homophobes, anti-Semites, or some other kind of extremist...and as long as they just live & let live, they are cool with me.
 
people are not my enemies ,but i dont like governments.

in fact ,if a person is not like a human ,i cant love him whether he is my countryman or not.
