To me it's an issue that further exemplifies the fact that the People have no say. According to Rasmussen, 52% of the American People said no. The administration said 'lol, **** you, I'm the government'.
Nice revisionism. The vast majority supported public option, which is what the Dems fought for an entire year. When that became impossible to pass in the Senate, the mandate became what they settled for. In other words, Repubs and a couple Dems like Lieberman subverted the public's will first (the public always wanted reform), and that's what led to this mess.
