What do we actually KNOW about this man? I for one find it curious for someone to agree & disagree w/both sides of any particular isuue.Day one he may be for something, while day two he does a 180 & day three denies that he said anything at all.Thats not the kind of guy I want with a finger on the 'red button'.You cant trust him.He is willing to say anything to anyone, depending on what that particular audiance wants to hear. It's my opinion that the man will do anything to become president.Lie & deny.Pander.Habititual liar.No backbone to stand up to anyone for fear of offending someone, therefore maybe losing a vote. While there will never be a perfect president, they try.Obama trys.People say things like"he loves America",dont ALL presidents love their country? No president ever walked into office & said'I think I'll destroy America'.But thats what Mitt & the Right want you to believe.Where has common sense gone?

who did you vote for in 08?

We know that he is not commited to any one issue. He has yet to lay out ANY plan on how move this country forward.Nothing concrete.Name me one thing he has been consistant on.

Is this a parody thread?

I voted for Reagan in 1980, and the reason to not vote for another Republican in the White House was branded on me. GW Bush only enforced my reasoning.

Mitt Romney reminds me of a kid version of Ronald Reagan. He looks good - he sounds good - but he's just an actor: he can in no way pilot this country.

yeah why pick a guy who was a successful businessman and a successful Olympic director when we can hire an assclown who had no experience in anything relevant before he ran and has proven himself to be a major screw up for the last 3.5 years

I might remind everyone that no one in the GOP wanted Romney until there was no one left. Does that make Romney worthy? Does it make Obama more worthy? Oh, hell no, on both counts.

all the big money in SW Ohio was behind Romney from the start. The Lindners, the Farmers, and Senator Portman

Nobody wanted Romney until nobody was left? LOL There must have been at least a few, maybe you are exaggerating just a little huh.

as I noted, the biggest power brokers in Cincinnati (which is one of the most important GOP fundraising areas in the USA) wanted him

Romney supporters in this area include John Barrett (CEO Western-Southern Life, the family that started the Barrett Cancer center), Bob Castellini-owner of the REDS, Dick Farmer-owner of CINTAS, and the Lindners
pretty much a who's who of GOP power brokers

I'd rather have Huntsman and his eyebrows.

Neither Reagan or Romney are(or in Reagans case was) a good actor.Romney isnt evev a good liar

Romney is smarter than Obumble, had a better record in real life than Obama and isn't trying to turn America into another Greece

Thread: Is Romney really the man for the office of President?

Romney may not be the best man for the job, but he is way ahead of whoever is in second place

You have Obama confused w/Romney & the GOP.They would love to see the bottom fall out.Like McConnell said,Our #1 priority is to make Obama a 1 term president. And if that means taking the entire country w/it they are more than willing to do it at our peril

I believe there were some predictions of the right rewriting history after Romney eventually secured the nomination.

I see those predictions were correct.

Wow, such an auspicious start for a newbie. that's really a stupid post.

Defeanting Obama is good for this nation

feel free to contradict what I posted concerning Romney's support in one of the most important GOP areas in the USA

Ah. The purchasing of the presidency. We kinda knew that is what the right has been about for quite some time, but it is refreshing to see it admitted right out in the open. And Romney is indeed the perfect candidate for sale... just drop a quarter in the slot, he'll say whatever you want ;)
