Obama comes off as a narcissitic a-hole. I mean, seriously, who publishes 2 autobiographies before they are 45 besides Hitler.

You won't get a satisfactory answer from me, but I'll go with Bush overall.

Alright, Bill had personal faults that are very hard to ignore. Yet, I would enjoy talking with him, or would enjoy to hear the man sell his globalization theory to me. George still has a reputation that is hard to live down and much of it is still too recent to put into perspective, but I would enjoy being around him in one of those unguarded situations that he excelled in. For the most part, I think I would get along far better with Bush than the others, much of it because of personal values and somewhat similar outlooks. Obama I would like to talk to about the university, but I do not quite know what subject to talk about as of yet.

I'm a Vietnam Veteran and am offended by GWShiiteForBrains being AWOL for a year and having a million dollars spent by our Nation teaching him how to fly a combat plane and then he refuses Vietnam duty. A basic coward and lyin' scumbag. Ask 45,000+ injured or dead US Soldiers caused by the Iraq lies of yours truly. He was repeatedly warned of 9-11 prior to the event. I'm sure he can come off as a nice guy unless you want to talk about or look at the facts.

In a way, that is why his dad tops my list of presidents I would liek to meet. Navy pilot WW2, as a navy vet, that alone makes him some one I want to swap stories with, though mostly by swap I mean listen to his stories.

I find both Bush and Obama to be likable... but Clinton was a piece of **** as a person, imo.

A likabble piece of **** though. ;)

I think Obama would be most interesting, but not neccessarily likable. Bush was too frat boyish, seeming neither interesting or likable for more than a few beers.

As far as presedential sounding, or perhaps looking, he is definitely the least, but he gots a lots of courageggg. Hell he is 80 something and still skydives to celebrate his birthdays. His son did take a little of that (not much) but remember the Iraq shoe throwing incident. I think he has had some shoes thrown at him in the past. And Laura must be pretty good too. He ducked those shoes like a freakin ninja. Stood back up and literally you could see him daring the guy to do it again.

In a one-on-one setting, I suspect all three are quite likeable. The president I liked and respected the most, however, is not on that list: George HW Bush.

Politics aside. Don't think about the economy, foreign policy, etc. Think about character stuff. You know, like cheating on your wife, being a drunk, or snorting coke. Which POTUS is the most likable guy of the last three? Clinton, W Bush, or Obama.

The most "likable", though I despised his politics, the most likable of the bunch is clearly Clinton.

I hate Clinton, World hates Bush, Obama is still on so he doesn't count.
Answer some pro isolation guy from 19 century or 18 century.

Bush handled the shoe thrower perfect. I gave him much credit for it. This gives me a thread idea...

Can't really pick between Bush and Clinton. Anybody who gets that much ***** is doing something right in the likeability department. Bush seemed like a genuinely likeable person, I just didn't care for his policies.

As far as liking politicians goes, I liked Clinton the best. I was younger when he was actually President, but nowadays I see him on talk shows and documentaries and he comes across as a worldly, intelligent man with a genuinely compassionate and generous character. No one's perfect, but cheating on your wife isn't illegal, just immoral, and he really got jerked around by the GOP when he was impeached. Clinton made a real bad decision, but his opponents are the ones who used a private matter as a political tool to bring him down.

I can't believe Clinton is leading this thing. I figured it would be Bush, Clinton, then Obama. I thought it would be pretty close between Bush and Clinton.

Something about Obama's personality and that damn ego gots my hooked.

I couldn't believe that people didn't vote for Clinton. For as much as he sucked at President, he's the most real and likable guy of the bunch.

I used to have a boss that I hated even seeing him much less have an conversation with him. Yet he was the best boss that I ever have worked for. BTW I hear that Hugo Chavez is a nice guy to talk to, personalities really mean nothing for the position of president. Its their actions that matter.

Oh come on, do you think people are going to honestly answer this poll "politics aside"?

Well it was limited to the last three Presidents. Personally I'd rather sit down with George H W Bush. But it wasn't an option. And I hated his politics. He just seems to be the most interesting and personable.

But I understand that you have a hard time not looking at things through your opaque glasses.
