True, true, and the process makes all of them look worse than they really are.

People expect a lot out of their leaders that they simply are not going to get. I know that's strange coming from someone who is generally switching parties, but I firmly believe it.

I actually agree. I would add that we are a large aprt of the problem today. We buy into and feed the silliness that is our political process.
 
It's really none of those options for me. It's not that I don't want either, but that I do think one is better than the other, though only marginally.

I voted for Obama in 2008 and will do so happily again.
