Would you vote for Jeb Bush for president?

Would you vote for Jeb Bush for president?

I voted for Jeb three times when he ran for Governor of Florida. I would absolutely vote for him for president; good guy and good leader.

I don't know if I'd vote for him or not. I have no idea what he stands for or what his policies on things I care about are. And I have no idea who he'd be running against.

If he's anything like George W. Bush, probably not though.
Bush 41 had no backbone when it came to standing up to dems and his son was no better, I wouldn't gamble on Jeb, the apple tree thing.
This, I think, would sour a lot of people on him... including myself. He'd have to do a lot of talking to sway me.

Fair? Probably not, but I have been less-than-impressed with his family thus far in the same job.

I am conceding nothing. I am just throwing this out there. As everyone knows I am a big GWB fan and think under the circumstances (9/11 and Katrina two of the biggest disasters in our history) did a fine job and was a good president who unlike Hussein Obama is revered by our troops. I think the verdict is out where he will stand in the history of great presidents.......

That said I think Jeb is the smartest of the sons and would make a great president if elected.........I love the things he accomplished in Florida as governor.

I could never vote for another Bush presidency. The two of the Bush administrations were disastrous, and there is no way I could ever vote for a third Bush to take office.

Never another Bush. Ever.

What do you think? He could be the nominee in 2016.

I like his stand on a lot of issues, But I do not think I would vote for him.As far as I know he could be a phoney just like Romney or the epitome of scumbag politicians like Gingrich.

Its retarded to vote for or against for someone because you don't like that candidate's relatives. We don't punish people for the actions of their relatives.

Its strange you would say that.....The man has a record to run on. I believe he was a 3 term Governor in Florida which is a swing state in presidential elections.

I am withholding my vote so I can see how everyone votes............Looks like the Bush haters are turning out in mass but most conservatives are not voting...A lot of people have viewed the poll but only 23 have voted......Since I don't count non members it is 18-5 against........Come on my conservative friends get out there and vote in the poll.....

Jeb? Why not Neil Bush the real financial wizard of the family. Hell yeah , elect them all.

This pretty much tells me you would vote for Bush. Why make the same mistake a third time? No more Bush's...ever! Get Chris Christie, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, or whoever...just keep the Bush's away from D.C.

Or Hussein Obama for that matter......No matter how you feel about GWB Jeb is a different person who has been very successful in elected office.......What part of that do you not understand?

Nope, that is a cop out........

How is wanting a 'maybe' option on the "would you vote for jeb bush" poll on an online debate forum a cop out? It's an honest answer.

The people that vote will make a decision, yes or no.......

Um, Navy, you do realize that these polls don't mean anything right? There isn't actually any kind of decision being made, and stumping for people to vote yes won't actually get Jeb Bush elected.

Pretty sad when you have to beg 'conservatives' to vote for a Bush!

The way I remember it, BushII won his second election, smallest margin by a wahtime settin President, so there must not have been too many 'loony libs' screaming anyone but Bush. However McCain caught the full brunt of the mangled mess BushII was leaving the American people so a whole buncha people other than the lefty loonies thinking anyone but Bush-lite. So using the tit for tat about 'conservatives' falling all over themselves to hate the one they will vote with the anyone but cry is a bit off the mark. The democrats were fired up back then, the republicans are still looking for their starting gun.

Yeah BushII was a hellova leader when he was cheerleading, not so much when he put his Decider in Chief hat on. His leadership was adequate until he needed to lead. Natural disasters like we have had before he seemed unable to fathom, terrorist attacks brought out his inner child and what a brat he was. Strutting like Mussolini, snickering like a cartoon dog, off the cuff bluff like a B movie cowboy he stunk up the place. He thought Brownie was doing a great job, Rummy was his man literally one day and then gone the next!

I do think better of Jeb, but he may have missed the boat. We are not that tribal and the Republican party isn't a monarchy...

1. Nope I want you to make a decision.........Maybe does not cut it..........

2. all it does is give us and idea how people in DP might vote....Looking at the results they are all partisan so far with the lefties all voting no and the few Conservatives who have voted voting yes.........

Put mine down for yes on JB 2012. I was one of the 5 and that JB was who I wanted as the GOP Presidential Candidate for this year.

Well, without knowing what platform he'd be running on and who he'd be running against, maybe's all you're going to get. I prefer to vote informed. I do my best not to base my choice of who to vote for on family names or party lines.

Well it can hardly be surprising that liberals don't want to vote for a republican and conservatives do.

I am voting Clinton in 2016. And again is 2020, then Chelsea Clinton in 2024 and 2028. Republicans might win a presidential election sometime after that.

Good luck with that.

Chelsea's career so far might be even thinner than Obama's at that point in time. I hear she isn't doing too well in her current job

You hear alot of things which have little bearing in reality.

I don't want to crucify Jeb on the cross of being a Bush, but based soley on the other too Bushes, probably not.

I am willing to give him a chance to convince me otherwise, however.

Great more rumor mongering:roll:
