Re: Someone making 40K per year should not pay more in taxes than someone making 10 m

people who cannot afford any taxes shouldn't be demanding others pay even more taxes

And people that pay more in taxes shouldn't be demanding that those that pay less or none follow their rules/laws.

Exactly. Equal Treatment Before the Law? Pshaw. We don't need any of that crap here.

that is rather silly. I merely want to be left alone and not forced to fund poor choices of other people. the rich are less than 5% of the population. We don't elect the politicians and the rich don't agree on party choice anyway

so what exactly were you babbling about? sounds like populist BS to me

So you're saying that if you were in the top 1% you would do absolutely nothing to influence laws/bills?

 It was your choice to be rich, if you don't like paying high taxes, get a lower paying job.

Someone making 40K per year should not pay more in taxes than someone making 10 million.
agree.
tax loop-holes are frustrating.

Re: Someone making 40K per year should not pay more in taxes than someone making 10 m

If you cannot afford to pay for the level of government you want, you should not be demanding even more government which would impose taxes on others

So people who can't pay taxes should be anarchists?

Seriously though, if it's just a general moral stance, which it seems to be, I'm not sure why you keep posting it.
