Sure thing, right after OP sources his every claim I'll be right behind him filling pages and pages of this thread with my ready-made prostitution debate source material right out of my Standard Issue Response file. No problem.
I'm happy to be your secretary but it will cost you a Silver DonationWhat claim have I made? Please be specific...

Back on topic: We're not talking about 2 people, we're talking about a market full of millions of people. The increase is various crimes associated with prostitution, does effect me. Also, the prostitute is rarely ever consenting. It's slavery, and that doesn't have to effect me (aka my wife or doughtier or niece being kidnapped for prostitution) in order to oppose it.
So great, like your friend barbarian, you make baseless claims then act like a child...i expected more from you...guess I won't do that again...
do you not see how weak your argument is? you ask me to back up my claim but you can't even state my claim...kinda pathetic, huh?
I already have the list of your claims on this thread sitting on a MS word doc on my desktop, ready to post. If you don't even know your own argument and need me to look up what you posted for you, then your laziness is going to cost you a silver donation.
You're confusing legal prostitution with illegal prostitution. Please don't denounce the argument championing for legalized and regulated prostituted by bringing up issues related to illegal prostitution. Please demonstrate at what point crime spiked in Storey and Lyon Counties after the legalization of prostitution. Please demonstrate an increase in crime in the areas of the Netherlands where prostitution is legal. Please demonstrate how legal brothels are able to forcibly take people from their homes and turn them into slaves.
So that everything I post in this troll infested thread can be summarily ignored. Right. OP can't even be bothered with supporting his own claims, so therefore having set that standard for his thread, no one else is required to either. Folks who want to discuss the issue in earnest are again invited to take it to the loft.

You made the claim, now you back it up. Pretend this is just you and me.
Legalizing and regulating [prostitution] would clean up many of the things people don't like about it.
[W]e should be staying out of people's bedrooms and let consenting adults do what they want.
She only needs a pimp because it's illegal. If it's legal and regulated, no need for a pimp.
Meh, I'm going easy-mode and then leaving the thread:
True debate #4 Jerry -vs- Rivrrat: Prostitution
I see that you list your location as Utah & Arizona, but your stating a view that is antithetical with most in the area. How are you doing there? We pay doctors to make us feel better, why not prostitutes to make us feel good?
That being said, I would be more prone to brag about my grandkids becoming doctors than becoming whores...

Since the topic of legalizing marijuana came up, we should discuss another "illegal" activity...
Should prostitution be legal?
Yup. I lived near St Francis Xavier Catholic Church from '55 - '68.Utah is mostly Mormon, but not as high a percentage as many think.....Idaho percentage is a lot less, as is Arizona.
There are a lot of Catholics in AZ, not sure how that works now, but in the old days of Europe, the priests distributed funds from the poor box to the poor in the conventional way, unless they were known whores....the priests paid the whores for services rendered....
(There was a show on History channel a few years back, about the history of prostitution)
