Is Navy Pride a racist? Who knows. Does NP play the race card every chance he gets? You betcha! Does Navy Pride know the definition of the term racist? Nope.

No one here knows if Obama is a racist since we cannot read his mind. This has to be on of the stupidest polls ever.

You have said I play the race card? whom in DP have a called a racist........How many tmes have I been called one?

I think the answer is "yes." I believe Obama is a racist! But because he is bi-racial, he is not just one racist, but two. His white half favors white people and his black half favors black people.

I didn't participate in the poll because I don't know the man's heart. However, I do know his politics and his recent actions do show he is a race hustler who will use race and tragedy to further his agenda. That makes him a very sick dangerous person who needs to be removed from office as soon as possible for the health of this great nation.

The man is dividing the white and black race.......On a racist website he has called for all blacks to vote for him...If that is not racist I don't know what is..........Can you imagine what would happen if a white candidate went on a david duke web site and asked all whites to vote for him.........He would be crucified but Hussein Obama gets a pass.........

No, he is not a racist.

But many of the folks who accuse him of racism, are themselves racists.
Stupid sure, but racist? Sounds like you're attempting to one-up the OP in unfounded accusations of racism.

Whenever I see a white person ask this question (about Obama or most other black public figures), I generally assume that THEY are racists until proven otherwise. And so far that assumption has seemed to hold up pretty well.

Mitt Romney belongs to a church that didn't accept black pastors until 1978. Do you consider him to be a racist?

You mean like everyone else in the country who isn't a complete dumbass? OK. What is the motivating factor behind your attempt to defend George Zimmerman anyway? I have to wonder what's really going on when people are clawing for any scrap of rationale, going against all known evidence, to exonerate some random guy who killed a teenager. What would be so bad--so painfully intolerable--about admitting the killer was in the wrong here?

Umm
There are LOTS of "incidents" here every year. You're going to have to be a little more specific than that.

Oh, so THAT'S how she died. :lamo
I have no idea what the hell you're even talking about here.

I think the question begs to be asked: Is NavyPride a racist, homophobic, fearful, sad little man who wants to be like Archie Bunker but was born 50 years too late?

I am really surprised how uninformed you are on those incidents............sadly it seems you have your head buried in the sand and have no clue on what is going on in this country.........I never agreed with you on any issue but I always thought you were intelligent and kept up on the issues.......my bad..........

actually the races havent been more UNITED lmao this is how he got elected.
what is actually happening is that the people that are racist dont like and now they are screaming and crying louder than they have in recent times and these idiots get the attention.

But NORMAL, OBJECTIVE, NON-RACIST people of all races have never been closer.

Again, proof that he uses race or tragedy to further his agenda. Stay on topic.

Did you read my first post my friend.............. Oh and thank you for your service..............:usflag2:

There is NO evidence that Barack Obama believes in the racial inferiority of any specific "race".

There is NO evidence that Barack Obama holds any prejudiced or bigoted attitudes towards any specific racial groups.

therefore, there is NO evidence that he is a racist.

Seriously. What did Obama mean by "If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon".

They keep showing the younger picture of this kid.......he is actually 17 and is 6'3" tall and was kicked out of school 3 times.....Why don't we hear more about that?

Just curious when did he take a stand for a white person my friend?

You realise his mom and his grandparents were white right?

Obama is not a racist, you just want him to be one because it helps further your cause in your own bizzaro universe.

A few weeks ago the far right were whining about Obama "standing up" for Sandra Fluke. She's white last time I checked.

Yeah everyone knows that but he picked his black side long ago..............Sitting in a racist church for 20 years proves that although you love the guy so much and are so blinded by that love you could never see anything wrong wqith him....that is the sad part........

I will ignore your personal attacks.......

oh the irony and lies in the post are astounding

how does any of this change the fact that white people attend and work at that church? they must be racists against themselves :lamo

I wouldn't call the President a racist. What I would say is he has Black pride which is no different than any White or Hispanic person who takes exceptional passion or enthusiasm in being a part of his/her racial and/or cultural background. Has the President had a few episodes where he fumbled on a racial issue or in hindsight perhaps believes he should've just refrained from commenting on the situation altogether? Yes, he has and I'm sure if he could have a do-over he'd express himself differently. But if displaying pride and/or concern for the group of people you closely identify with is now being defined as racism, then count me as one! For I am a proud Black man.

Look, this country has had White men leading this nation for over 230 years and not once (that I'm aware of) has anyone questioned whether or not any of them were racist just because they attended a specific church or commented publically on a specific act of social injustice whether civil or criminal. I'm sure people called former President Truman a nigger lover when he signed an executive order to desegregate the military. And I know Lincoln faced harsh criticism for emancipating slaves. But I seriously doubt folks questioned their pride or support for White people even when they took such bold steps to end racism in this country.

Now, I understand where some people who don't like President Obama are coming from with this issue of race. Put frankly, on occasion he has shown a certain partiality to Black causes or for fair/equal treatment for Black people on a case-by-case basis. But IMO that's not being racist. That's him attempting to bring a broad sense of awareness to a situation that has caught the attention of the nation. Because he is the President, his statue carries lots of weight. The hope is his words can ease racial tensions, not escalate them. So far during his presidency, he's had four racial situations that garnered national attention, three of which perhaps didn't go over very well:

1) Leaving Rev. Wright's church

2) Beerfest w/Henry Louis Gates and police Sgt. Joseph Crowley

3) The firing of Mrs. Sherlie Sheddon

4) The shooting death of Trayvon Martin

Of the four incidents, I thought he handled leaving Rev. Wright's church the best, but you notice that at no time did the President condemn White people for their actions. If anything, he has tried to bridge the racial divide. IMO, he has fumbled on at least two occasions - Beerfest and the Sheddon firing - but overall, I wouldn't say he showed racism in how he handle them. Racial biasness...maybe, because he clearly has shown more concern for social injustices committed against Black people moreso than White people, but in his defense there hasn't been a serious situation involving mistreatment of a White person that gained national attention where his opinion has been sought....yet. Nonetheless, the key here is how he defends one race (Blacks) but condemns another (Whites) for the offense or crime committed. Until that happens, you don't have racism where he's concerned. You just have...concern w/pride mixed in. Nothing more.

But the reverse has certainly been projected at him. No one can question the validity of that statement!!

again what does your opinion above do to the fact that white people attend that church and work there?
and your failed insults also do nothing to change this fact, it just shows how desperate you are to try and deflect from the truth.

There have been a lot of incidents where a black and white person are involved and President Obama always takes the black persons side:

1. He sat in a racist church for 20 years.

He now has a white spiritual adviser. Hanging out with racists doesn't make you a racist. My deceased grandmother is a racist, but I still loved her, made her spoon racks, spice racks, boxes and other things for my grandmother.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_WallisAlthough Wallis actively eschews political labels, his advocacy tends to focus on issues of peace and social justice and he works as a spiritual advisor to President Barack Obama.

2. the current fiasco in Fla where he took the black persons side without knowing all the facts.

A lot of people do that regardless of what race they and regardless if they are a racist or not. It doesn't make them racist. My best friend is black, married to a white woman, has 4 bi-racial children with her and he is on the Zimmerman is a evil racist who shot a poor innocent little kid without knowing all the facts.

3. the incident last year in DC

You are going to have to be more specific.

4. he threw his grandmother under the bus.

He also threw his minister under the bus when he found out that having a anti-American racist preacher is not kosher with voters.
