Is this post directed at the boy who was shot in Florida? Ask yourself this, If the neighborhood watch guy was a black man who shot a 14 year old white kid in a suburban fenced in neighboor, would he currently be arrested awaiting charges for 1st Degree murder? If you think not, reconsider what kind of country you live in.

And to answer this once again ridiculous poll by one of our extreme conservative members here at Debate Politics, the answer is NO. Just because a black man stands up for racial inequality in our judicial system does not mean he hates all white people. Just because a black advocate supports Obama does not mean he's a racist, are you a racist for considering such a ridiculous poll? Possibly.

Given the same circumstances and Florida's laws, I don't think so. Florida has a law specifically that gives people the right to fight off attackers. I'm not saying I agree with it or disagree with it, but that law in particular has allowed dozens and dozens of people of all colors to either get off, or not be charged at all for deaths.

Sharpton has a long, long history of being a race baiter. This is yet another example. To him, as well as far too many liberals around here, the fact that the one dead was black magically makes it a racial crime. Why do you people think anything involving one black person and one white person has to be racial? Funny, isn't the whole point having a color-blind society? The least color-blind people around are the race baiters like Sharpton.

It's been long enough...was it shown that Sharpton knew, or was he maybe fooled too? If the former, everything valuable Sharton had, or evber will have. That was one messed up situation.

Sharpton IS a racist though... and the guy in Florida was a Mexican, not a white guy so a fail on the analogy.

Personally I don't see how anyone can consider Sharpton anything but an opportunistic racist.
 
I'd tend to say yes.

He and others like him seem to use racial conflict as a source of power/money.

Think about it...would Al Sharpton have the same record if no one gave a **** about skin color/race?


I'm always suspicious of people who use race the way he does.


Put it this way - if he's not racist, his actions certianly are.

Wow, I never read a definition for racist like yours. So if my focal point is trucks I'm against cars but I don't hate cars. No, not quite. Can you help more.
