Her constituents deserve actual active representation. So yes its a good move for her to resign.
 
Watch her announce her resignation, and you'll have your answer. She's such a brave lady...and she's making the right decision.

I think it's sad, she showed such courage.

And I applaud her for realizing her limitations and stepping aside for her constituency to get the representation that it requires.

An example to us all.
 
As everyone else has already said, she is making the right decision. She needs to focus on her health and her recovery, and the people of Arizona need to have active representation in congress.
 
I was hoping for a fairy tale ending. Perhaps in a few years, she'll run again.
 
she is a strong, good person, and i hope that she continues her remarkable recovery.
 
If she allows this to make her quit... then the terrorists win!!!!!!

Very sad to see her resign, but in her situation it definitely a necessary move. She can return to public office when she regains her health, but she cannot recover from the injuries she sustained without taking a substantial leave of absence to do it.
 
She has served her country honorably. The choice is nobody but her own to make.

There are some Supreme justices and congressmen who could take a lesson from her when knowing to hang up the cleats.
 
She has a longer row to hoe than a lot of people might realize, a harder and more difficult ordeal ahead of her than anyone deserves and I commend her on her decision.
