Who is more ridiculous?

Pelosi hands down.

Palin is somewhat ridiculous - somewhat like a reality celeb with a large following. She was governor of Alaska - she's bound to be folksy and not entirely polished. Lots of governors are that way.

Pelosi is somewhat ridiculous - but much more dangerous. She's Minority Leader for the House and was Majority Leader. She has led the US from the inside for decades in becoming more like San Francisco (nothing like folksy or representative of the "typical" American).

My favorite Pelosi quote is: “I believe in natural gas as a clean, cheap alternative to fossil fuels” re-worded another time as natural gas “is cheap, abundant and clean compared to fossil fuels”. Palin would've been beaten senseless by this kind of gaffe.

Although, the philosophy behind "But we have to pass the (healthcare) bill so that you can find out what is in it" speech was more dangerous. They know what's best for us all, just trust them. In 2006, she said that her Congress would be the most transparent Congress ever - right.

At least with Pelosi we have not had her family constantly paraded on tv.

I was going to say that Palin and her kids have worn out their welcome as much as Kate Gosselin and her 8 kids then I remembered what the hell they have even got together on her tv show.
Now Palin just has to get together with her kids and the Kardashians to complete the full circuit as begin the most untalented people glamorized on tv.

Fact: It allows to settle trade disputes among states. It does not give the fed control over commerce. Saying it does is perhaps the dumbest thing you can manage as it goes against the entire purpose of the balance of powers of the states and fed.

Simply because you, a conservative/libertarian, disagree with something, it does not make that "something" dumb .
If anything is "dumb", its the people who misunderstand what both Palin and Pelosi are trying to say. I even think that both are intelligent, but are short in communicative skills(most of us are,IMO)...which is far from any crime

I don't think that gaffe deserves to be attacked, really. Wouldn't matter who said it. Even though natural gas is a fossil fuel, it's primary component of methane is not. It's actually a very renewable resource.

I think it's more of an example of outdated classification/terminology than anything else.

See, Palin has no power. She is no longer an elected official, she is allowed to be crazy. Pelosi is insane, and the scary thing is that she does have power and ruled the House with her craziness. This is why Pelosi is far more ridiculous. It's one thing to be a powerless cheerleader, it's another thing to be a high ranking member of the House.

It has nothing to do with my lean. The commerce clause DOES only give the fed the power to settle disputes of trade between the states. It does NOT do what she has entire website set up to explain. It has nothing to do with my lean to say that if the purpose of the commerce clause was to give the government complete control over commerce it would destroy the entire idea of the balance between the fed and the states.

As for Palin everything she says is retarded and the quote I posted is a perfect example of it. Recognizing it as such has nothing to do with my lean and everything to do with her talking about how it gives her foreign policy experience.

Pelosi was a piss-poor student at a fourth rate finishing school for rich Catholic girls whose family was rich from holding public office and she married into an even wealthier family where she was able to use that money to buy public office. She is an accomplished politician but hardly "extremely intelligent". Palin is more talented in the sense ( and take note for those who support some versions of "affirmative action") that she achieved her political power and fame mainly due to her own efforts without a family background of wealth, political influence et

Palin, but only by a slight margin. I was almost convinced that Pelosi was even more stupider a year back, but I stick by my decision
