Ah, but you can't even consider the OWS in a negative light despite all the violence happening, lol.

A double shooting, rapes, thefts, drug dealing, 3000 arrests, etc. Dont try to act like its a bunch of peaceful kids. Its a bunch of lazy kids who couldnt hack it in the real world trying to find someone to blame. Kind of like how Obama blames the rich for his failures.

What a douche.

Whining about Time Place and Manner restrictions 30 years after they were ruled as reasonable as it pertains to assembly by the supreme court.

Because those that support the 1st Amendment are Douches???? Civil libertarians believe that Free Speech Zones are used as a form of censorship and public relations management.

Well are they not little more than restrictions on free speech?

I had a laugh recently when I saw my local town had one of those "zones" set up in the middle of a wooded park just outside the area where they require permits for using the benches and other facilities, and there is a permit required to use the zone as well.

Doesn't sound much like how most would interpret free speech at all.

By the time the majority of Americans realize just how screwed we are there will be legislation allowing them to be shot if their protest is found threatening, oh wait didn't that happen already :)

With most protest you must outweigh the good with the bad. I am not sick of it and am glad that people are Finally protesting again. My hope is that it sends strong signals to the Hill. The people are stirring and rightfully so.. The lion is not even fully awake right now. I do not think those in power wish to see a Lion that is fully awake and ready for food.

I like whining in public as much as the next guy but this OWS bull**** has long ran it's course.

Its time for them to hang up their Guy Fawkes masks, throw away their signs with pictures of Che, and shut the **** up.

I support the 1st Amendment too.

I also support reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions. Keyword being REASONABLE.

Camping out on public property, when camping on public property is a crime is not even a restriction on assembly.

Thats like saying you can commit any crime you want so long as you do it in the name of protest. <--- This is not a requirement to be supportive of the 1st Amendment.

Wait.... what about the residents, and the businesses thats rights are infringed on by these interlopers?

But you must remember that business/capitalism is the enemy. Therefore, they don't care.

The OWS are nothing but a mockery.

You have grand dreams of the character of those of whom you speak...

What we have here is not "the Lion"...but a few rogue sheep.

not all OWSers see capitalism and business as "the enemy". you are simply making an ignorant strawman.

That pretty much sums it up for me.

What of the "rights" that were infringed upon by those not wishing to ride the bus with African Americans, unless they were in the back of the bus? Or those business owners "rights" to not admit people of color?

I'm pretty sure what they are saying is the rights of the 99% will not be subjugated by the 1%.

The right to economic justice that has been under attack during the last 30 years of wealth redistribution.

LOL, there is no such right. Even if there was, explain to me the justice in taking from someone who's earned something and giving it (or a portion of it) to someone who hasn't.

Your opposition to economic justice is noted. The majority, myself included, disagree.

That is what the OWS is protesting. For the last 30 years tax rates have been decreased for those at the top and increased for the middle class, so more and more of the middle class are being forced into poverty to pay higher tax rates to make up for lower tax rates being paid by those at the top.

Economic justice is when one small class of people doesn't continually get the gold mine while the middle class gets the shaft. Economic justice is when you reverse 30 years of cutting taxes on the wealthy. Economic justice is reestablishing the firewall between investment banking and commercial banking, Economic justice is paying a living wage to the people that make the wealth in this country. Economic justice is eliminating tax cuts for outsourcing American jobs.

In other words, while the rich continue to work 80 hours a week, they must get the same pay as people who are unemployed and protesting instead of working or trying to find a job.
Your opposition to common sense is duly noted

You make up something and attribute it to me, then claim it makes no sense. Do you think no one sees though this? Let me know if you should decide to discuss what I actually said.
