The fact that more firearms makes the community safer is well documented with well-vetted, solid evidence. It is a fact.

BUZZZT - Try again.

That Libertarian fantasy pile of garbage is wa-aaaaay too easily debunked.

Come to a real city like L.A., Chicago, or New York...more guns than you can shake a stick at, and try to sling that line of crap.

Ahhh I see.

yeah lots of the cheap Century International crap has shot out barrels. They released a whole batch of Polish Tantals in 545X39 that had 556 bores meaning the bullets would not engage the rifling and tumbled all over the place. when their warranty department was contacted (by at least 30 people I personally know) they were told idiotic crap such as "the bullet is supposed to tumble" (yeah after hitting live targets, not before) or that the 1 year warranty starts not at the time you buy the weapon but after it is shipped to the distributor. So if they shipped it on May first and the distributor had ti 4 months and then the dealer had it four months you only have a 4 month warranty

that's why I only buy Arsenal or Red Jacket stuff. they stand behind it and that is worth the extra money to me

you confuse legal guns with illegal guns (ie guns owned by those in violation of the law)

there's lots of guns in chicago?.... how can that be?... they just recently came off of a strict gun ban.
Chicago should be an extraordinarily safe city due to the effectiveness of a long standing gun ban.

gun ownership is at an all time high across the country... and crime is at a 40 year low.... is there a correlation?.. maybe, maybe not... but we do know that the gun control supporters mantra of more guns = bloodbath in the streets is complete and utter nonsense.

Aren't those cities that **** all over the 2nd amendment so basically the only people with guns are the criminals and not the law abiding citizens? Not really a good example of what you are trying to prove unless unless you are trying to prove that the only thing anti-2nd amendment laws do is disarm the law abiding and encourage more crime.

Now, for the rest of the story...
How many of those guns are legally owned?

I remember being at this huge outdoor party one evening, and overheard two fellas that were shareing and smoking a joint, drinking beers, discussing how wrong it was that people have guns to kill each other.
Later....Both staggered to their own vehicles and drove away.

Awesome.

You are clueless.

Most anti-2nd amendment nuts are.
I think that if a bunch of people was stabbed with a Farberware 8" Forged Chef's Knife and Walmart decided to have a sale on Farberware 8" Forged Chef's knives especially several months after the incident. I do not think anyone would criticize Walmart for having a sale on those knives.I do not think anyone would claim that the people who run Walmart are douchbags for having those knives on sale and I do not think they would even give it a second thought. The only reason for the criticisms of these a gun raffle is because they have some sort of anti-2nd amendment agenda.

Nothing here negates his statement.
Please try again.

His statement: Guns weren't created for the purpose of killing people.

Facts: Guns invented for use in war.

You're playing chicken with the forum's mack truck. What next? Bombs weren't created to blow up ****?

False. As quoted form your response, his statement:

Just as fire arms weren't invented to murder people.
As I said - nothing you posted negates his statement.

Your inexcpliably inflated sense of self-worth is -so- cute.
