Who knows...
Why not? Some states already mandate a fertility test for some couples (first cousins) to ensure that if they are below the age of 55/65 (depending on the state), they cannot procreate. If they can procreate, they cannot get a legal marriage.
Right, no I understand. Hate crime still needs be to be taken off the books.
If you assault me, it really doesn't matter if it's because you just want my wallet or (as is typical for SD) get some measure or revenge for what my white ancestors did to your 'native ancestors.
Mhmm, what I was arguing against was this notion that if hate crimes were erased, that everyone would be able to start beating up on minorities. You're not saying anything here which is against that point.
A couple years ago SD looked at similar regulation, but we decided we didn't need yet another crime to charge the general population of PineRidge with, so we let it go. They already have so many highschool dropouts, meth addicts and various felons, adding to the list didn't seem like it would accomplish anything.
Right...what I was saying was that many crimes do factor in motivation but no one seem to care about them but for some reason people care that hate crimes factor in motivation.
Hey man, people murder people for all kinds of crazy **** all the time. What you do not see in America is the specifically endorsed practice by the majority of the population and even the State to brutally execute gays. That's what you people take for granted. That's why you have no right to bitch about ****. You can go out in public and be openly gay, hold a job, have a live, have a 'partner', buy a house and live together, without fear that every able body in your local community is going to kill you.
You have nothing to complain about.
They used to require a blood test to ensure that both partners had the same RH factor.
Someone being attacked because they're white, black, gay, short, old, fat, love glee (wait I already said gay), whatever isn't any worse or make that person any more special or deserves any more punishment then if someone did it because you owed them money, you hit on their girl, you talked crap about their mother, they wanted your money, etc.
You can go out in public and be openly gay, hold a job...
Only about thirty percent of the gay community hasn’t reported to have been harassed
Hate Crimes against Homosexuals
Yeah we have nothing to complain about.
Who says that I am taking the freedoms of this country for granted? I know that its worse in other countries but that doesnt excuse this country of anything. So yes I do have the right to "bitch" about not being completely equal to that of a straight person. And about that not living in fear that everybody in your local community is going to hurt you thing see above. And there is more to add.
Up to 56 percent of transgender people report having been fired and up to 47 percent report having been denied employment, says MTPC. Up to 21 percent report having been verbally or physically harassed in the workplace.

31% of GLBT students had missed at least an entire day of school in the past month because they felt unsafe based on their sexual orientation

You know full well that we have much to complain about.
My job will fire people for being gay. I'm in a state where that is perfectly legal.
Wait; what?
The State of Insanity?
The State of Insanity?
Federal laws. While there is no federal law that prohibits this type of discrimination in private employment, an executive order specifically outlaws discrimination based on sexual orientation in the federal government.
State laws. Seventeen states and the District of Columbia have laws that currently prohibit sexual orientation discrimination in private employment: California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, and Wisconsin. Some of these states also specifically prohibit discrimination based on gender identity. (In addition, six states have laws prohibiting sexual orientation discrimination in public workplaces only: Colorado, Delaware, Indiana, Michigan, Montana, and Pennsylvania.)
essentially saying that people being attacked for who they are doesn't make the action any worse than someone being attacked for what they do

Is (bleep!)ing women a part of your job description then?
If not, why do they care?
Why are many people grossed out by homosexuality?
Why? My gay mother is one of the best people I know. Why would you judge some one on something that does not affect you?
Every man has an ugly naked body except for me.
Duh! Did you see the LOL?
Joke, joke, joke!
You know, that "love the sinner, hate the sin" crap gets bandied around so much that one would think Jesus actually said it. His message was more like "love the sinner, forgive the sin."
