I used to like Bobby Flay, til I met him in person and found out he's a douche of a monumental scale.
Now I'd say it's Alton Brown. Big fan of the way he breaks it down and turns food into a science.
Bobby Flay does come off as a big ole dbag.
I chose Guy followed very, very closely by Alton Brown.
He is. He hosted a grilling show (early 2000's) at my uncles plantation down here and the whole family was invited and could taste the food after he filmed the little special (which I never actually saw on tv for some reason, we kept hearing different dates on when it would air and then gave up hope) the food was alright, when some people wanted to take pictures with him he said ok, but said only one or two pictures. Ok, well my grandmother at the time was a huge fan and was excited to see him. She was going through cancer treatment at the time (passed away three or four months later) and the douche acted so amazingly perturbed that we asked him to lean over a bit for the picture (my grandmother was in a wheelchair) so that we could get them at the same height and when it was all said and done he walked away saying something akin to "If I'd have known they were gonna be this much trouble we'd have filmed somewhere else". Needless to say I hope he dies from auto erotic asphyxiation only to have photos leaked catching him in the act. I don't like him very much, lol.
BTW, I love that dude from Man Vs. Food. Good show and he's really funny though I don't guess you could call him a chef.
You MET HIM!?!?!? TEll me! Tell me! Tell me!!!!!!!!
Adam Blackmon (Blackman?)!!! LOVE him. I would totally be his groupie.
Adam Richmond maybe?

The guys I like are probably not featured on US TV but I like Michel Roux jr and Heston Blumenthal.
I'm ignoring that Heston's fat duck had a small culinary scare over contaminated shellfish. I enjoy the over-the-top- scientific approach he takes to producing the perfect version of well known dishes.
I'm a Guy Fieri fan, but Bobby Flay is a close second.
