Reagan gave extreme tax breaks to the wealthy and was a major opponent of workers' unions. Why do you think the wealth of the rich went up so high during his terms in office, but the wealth of the lower middle class working families stayed the same?

Technology does not account for such a major loss in manufacturing. That's just not feasible.

Worker's unions are a joke. Just an excuse for people to do less work and make more money. They are a burden on the economy, and were brought to the forefront when the auto industry tanked.

Perhaps if it was three days.....but were almost three years into The Kenyan-Irish Tyrant's one and done term.........

..........can a president go 4 years without it being his economy?

I don't recall saying it wasn't his economy, but you can throw words in my mouth if it makes you feel better.

To blame a President for a recession that he began his term in is pathetic and hilarious.

Even if that is true, what was going on the 80s does not even nearly stack up to the financial crisis of 2008.

Well neither did the population, workforce capacity, number of businesses, employers, consumers.........and there were still 600,000+ jobs being created.

Reagan Recovery
600,000 Jobs per month

Obama Recovery
54,000 Jobs per month (Half from McDonald's)

Since 100% of Democrat Legislation takes from Success and rewards Failure........perhaps there is a better way......

I wish Der Oneder would just hold a press conference and say..."My fellow Americans,,,today we embark on....oh...**** it...I cant even say it with a straight face anymore...I'm so damn lost! I hired a bunch of people that know less about the economy than the average kid with a lemonade stand. since 2007 we have been screwing this up worse and worse. The good news is that I have asked Bill Clinon and George Bush to come by the White House and see what they can do to help. Sorry about the whole 9% unemployment and 20+onlyGODknows how migh the actual percentage is. Id like to answer questions but I'm supposed to tee off in about 20 minutes. Thanks!"
