On no you didn't just go there.

Hope you're wearing a cup. ;)

I say it because I care...

At least she isnt still wearing those boob belts every single day with every single outfit thinking "this will slim my look..."

what makes u think a ginormous ass is unhealthy? There's lots of things you can do with something like that!

Hell yes...ask Shaq. She ought to play for the WNBA.

It is official, VanceMack does not like junk in that trunk.

Well...when I hear "back dat ass up" I prefer I dont have to hear warning beepers and flashing yellow lights...no...

I believe my point about liberals is now sufficiently proven.

my turn...

Liberals are easily amused - LOOK BOOBS!

Commence with the boob-pic posting  without breaking the rules, of course...

I think that would sufficiently apply to pretty much 95% of the male population, lib or con...and a fair number of the female persuasion as well...

So, if I made this my avatar,

Would the destraction cause you all to agree with me more?

not really. if it helps educate people, we are possibly saving money. i can't work up any outrage over this.

A better way to save taxpayer dollars is for the government to stop spending them on things the Constituiton does not allow. Among those things are "food plates" and health care.

It won't.

Does anyone seriously think it will?

Probably no more an impact than Nancy Reagans "Just say no" initiative. I think most first ladies try to have something they champion. And as far as this goes...its not a bad thing.

Here is my ONLY concern about this...they will use this as a new anti-poverty intitaive and will now ensure all school meals are treated this way as well as before and after school meals and weekend and summer school meals as well.

i dunno, you're the mayor you tell us. I can assure you that if you put graffiti drawings of pizza all around your city that people will go buy more pizza.

That's because there's a demand for pizza.

Ain't no demand for "food plates". People will look at that, go, "gee, a round food pyramid. We never paid no mind to the food pyramid, we ain't payin' no mind to this. Yo! Three Double-Doubles and a coke!"

My original point is that subliminal messaging works, that's all. And it's not like the entire $2 million is being spent solely on a graphic.

No.

Subliminal messaging only works to re-inforce desires a person has. All the subliminal advertising in the world isn't going to make people eat less fritos and more broccoli.

In order for it to work people have to care. People don't care about this.

Then they need to start, because it is a huge (no pun intended) issue in America today.

Untrue. Or else many advertisers wouldn't bother.

All the subliminal advertising in the world isn't going to make people eat less fritos and more broccoli.

I dunno, however small the effect is, that effect spread out over 300 million people might mean something.
