Many people do not keep track of the local ordinances and other local laws that they could be in violation with, and often times people don't bother to even think about them until a friend or relative or other person happens to mention it, or they see something outrageous in a local newspaper about some local ordinance that was violated.
So, I ask, how well do you know your local ordinances?

I honestly don't give a crap about the town I live in.
Have no desire to live here for that long.

Edit:
Even if I did, the mayor and city council are pretty much unseatable.
It's been the same people, who happen to be well connected to the local population, for years.
Same goes for the county.

It's an old school, good ole boy network supported by old people and long time residents.

I find it disgusting that you have to pay for this kind of information. The government should create a database of every single law and linked court cases and host it for free. I've looked up various laws on several occasions and it can be quite a difficult task.

You shouldn't have to pay via Municode....... At least for the Towns/Cities Ive looked up.

My town isn't listed, but I looked up the neighboring town and noticed how many of these things aren't enforced.
Especially with dogs and livestock.
There are a ton of loose dogs and chickens within the city limits.
