The Islamophobia and the hate industry, search for the money

Do you think that Islamophobia and the hate industry is motivated by money and funding?

So far, so good.

There is no scripture 'from God' to help me, or anyone else, do that. The bible was written by men. That's why councils have to be convened and consensus arrived at. Christianity is a man-made religion, and I wasn't part of the committee.

Islam, on the other hand DOES have a scripture 'from God' to define it. Big difference, mish kiddah?

Then show me a verse in which he gave the order to use the swords. Name a battle he fought in. In fact, I can show you where he STOPPED his disciple from using his sword.

Fail. You're obviously trying to paint commands to fight from the Qur'an as being similar to the bible's one-off stories. Epic fail. The Qur'an does contain stories; it contains clear commands. It uses the imperative. It tells Muslims that "fighting is prescribed for you even though you may not like it".

Are you an atheist? I think you are. A lot of Christians claim they are atheists to get away with criticizing Islam. The problem is you recognize that Koran is a scripture from God, why you don't believe in it? Many Christians disagree with you on the Bible not being the scripture from God.
You failed.

You assume much.

And where did you get the idea there are Christians disguised as Atheists so they can disparage Muslim teachings?

Are you an atheist? I think you are.

Yes I am an theist (Btw, that is what is known as answering a direct question. You should try it sometime).

Every time I make a statement about what the Qur'an is, there is an understood "according to Islamic belief" behind it.

Ok.

Now, it's your turn. Please complete this discussion:

You: The verses about buying swords and order the killing of the disbelievers in Jesus is very clear. He didn't order his followers to use the swords, why he ordered them to buy? To cut fruits and vegetables.

Me: Then show me a verse in which he gave the order to use the swords. Name a battle he fought in. In fact, I can show you where he STOPPED his disciple from using his sword.

You: Opps, nothing yet. Here's a chance to jump right on that whole answer-a-direct-question thingy.

The verses are very clear. Many Christians believe in the Bible literally. Jesus ordered his followers to buy swords, maybe to slaughter his enemies as in Luke(19:27). And anyway, you are atheist, why you are talking with me about the Bible?

Assume ,uch better than assume nothing

Jesus never ordered anyone to use a sword. EVER.

Mohamed started wars and had many hundreds of people executed. And to make matter worse, Mohamed actually existed and the atrocities he committed were real.

He did order, you are wrong. Luke 19:27

Prove what exactly?
Why i wrote the thread anyway?
naive question

The truth is most Americans don't think about Islam until Muslims do something that is horrific. Boko Haram slaughtering people in Africa. Shia and Sunni bombing each other for being the wrong flavor of Islam. Al Qaeda and 9/11. Syria gassing their own people. Al Qaeda and 7/7. Killing gays. Paris. Charlie Hebdo.

Your interpretation of course. When you read it in the context of who he told his followers to be at odds against, the family values goes right out the door.

Been there, done that.

That was a parable about a king. It was not a direct order from Jesus to kill people.

You didnt read the whole thing did you?

Your interpretation of course.

My interpretation of what exactly?

When you read it in the context of who he told his followers to be at odds against,

Just because you slip the word 'context' into a sentence does NOT mean you've made a point.

the family values goes right out the door.

What?????
