So I have found that I might be a little racist. But I don't know if it counts. It is against a very specific group of people. And i am not sure if I have a valid reason. It is more of a subset though. It is specifically white people that I call the "golf course community" or the "gentrified" community. It really depends on the location. Mostly upper upper middle class whites. Doctors, lawyers, and so on. To me it has something to do with the fakeness and materialism and stupidity. And it isn't limited to the anti vaccine liberal idiot older hipsters or conservative dumbass disconnected idiots either. It is universal. The kicker is that I am white. And it is mostly apolitical and I see it as mainly a white cultural thing at that level.

These people are not their own race. They do not have their own skin color. At worst you might be culturalist(just made that word up), but that is still far more justifiable than racism, although it is likely still not rationally defensible.

The Crowd is not the sum of its parts.

Also as a side note I just wanted to point out that your auto signature appears to prove how irrational your hatred of this culture is.

I just hate stupid people...of all races.

Don't worry about it. I'm white, grew up in/around Pebble Beach, and have know exactly that type of people my whole life.

It's not racist, it's just a dislike for the landed gentry set and the attitude that they seem to exhibit no matter where they're found.

I don't think it is either. It is just this feeling of instant irritation at the stupid **** they say and do. And how dumb their **** is. It is similar to how I feel when I look at a hipster.

Isn't ironic? Don't ya think? It's like rain on our wedding day!

You are truly unaware that there are people of all races in this subset of American culture?

You're not a racist, you're just a hater.

I am curious what is your thoughts on the concept of "chauvinism" that is exaggerated patriotism and loyalty to one's own group?

Racist? Not really but you should attend a tolerance camp just in case.

You've been trained to hate normal, non-dangerous, and friendly people. Ask yourself why you hate them, but you're told that it's hateful to judge suicide vest wearers and gangsta homeboys?

You mean the attitude of high trust, low crime, and low time preference? How awful!

To clarify, do you have animosity toward other races who are in the same economic positions?

No, I don't mean that at all.

Please think things through and try again.

Then why are you disparaging one of the few groups that exhibit these characteristics?

They don't necessarily. Why are you trying to talk about something you don't understand again?

They don't? Tell me what other group shows high trust. Show me the research.

Generally? No. But the culture is usually different with white people. Not a lot, but just enough to make me dislike them. Maybe I am a culturalist? Lol.

I despise those people too. The difference is I find myself out of contact with 2 of those groups. And the one group mentioned is not always friendly. Arrogance and stupidity. Which is dangerous. I just may not have to shoot them. ;)

I'm sorry, but regardless of how much you pout and sputter, those weren't the things I was referring to.

This seems to be very difficult for you. What's got you so confused?

Not racist. Definitely bigoted.

From that answer, if I were to have to judge whether or not you are racist, I would say "no - not racist."

You seem to have animosity towards a group of people, with a certain attitude. The culture. You're answer was "Generally? No." From that I infer that you could imagine having the animosity towards a member of another race, if they were to have a similar economic standing and cultural attitude. I also imagine that you wouldn't be hating on a richer white person who lived in a culture that more closely reflected your own.

A few weeks ago, I was bailing hay during the week and ended the week butchering chickens with my extended family, and then used my country club membership to play golf on Saturday. The lifestyles are so completely different between my "Circles" - both of whom I would do just about anything for. They both look down on the other, even if they wouldn't admit it. For a time, both looked down on me, because of where I came from and still go back to or where I wound up. And both groups feel the other is screwing them over, economically. I think the majority of people are "culturalists" if we're being honest with ourselves. Don't beat yourself up for being honest with yourself - acknowledge it, and if you don't like it, try to change it - first, by understanding them without assumptions. Many will be exactly what you thought they were. Many won't be.

You despise them too? They're not even comparable. They ought to be in totally different leagues.

In other words, I tried looking this up but then I realized that only whites exhibit high trust in this country, so I'm going to pretend like I never engaged you when you brought this up.

Newp. You made a guess about what attitude I was addressing, and you guessed wrong.

Stop embarrassing yourself. It's a bad habit.
