She was a well known spritiual life coach ,a famous author that dedicated herself to helping the others in finding themselves through their 6th senses but was shot by an insane woman yesterday .Life has to be that bad?:( I keep wondering why it happened to her.
yes I also wonder why her angels couldnt protect her either but please dont call me crazy.RIP nice lady

The senseless killing of anyone is sad. Even for an atheist like myself. I don't try to make sense of it because there is none. Unfortunately, human beings are capable of cruelty and violence. History has taught us that. They are also capable of love and kindness. All we can do is try to get along with others and love those who are important to us.

It can make a lot more sense (but not any less sad) to an atheist than theist, who will typically just dismiss the killer as "evil" and "going to hell" Well we don't believe in hell, so we have obligation to at least try to make sense of it, if we're going to wade into this and attach the label atheist as a legitimate judge on senselessness

Damaged prefrontal cortex, sociopath, paranoid schizo are all possibilities that come to mind. This isn't genocide. It's a single act of violence

All those things may or may not lead to an act of violence. It still makes no sense in general terms.

If a healthy brain has controls on violence, it makes perfect sense that an unhealthy brain does not. What you're searching for seems more like the 'greater meaning' that theists ascribe to

maybe that is why the woman killed her, to prove that her angels couldn't protect her
