Trump and the Religous Right...another reason I love him

We have a joke of a political system. Two parties. And at best there might occasionally be a glimmer of a third.
But the way competitive systems works, its stacked against a third, and two can ally to defeat a third, its in both their best interest.

We should have 5+ parties IMO, and it should not be winner take all.

Do we really want an 1860 election every four years (or 1840 with all its contentiousness)?

Why shouldn't it be winner-take-all?

Five to seven parties sounds pretty complicated. The Libertarians are doing better as the years roll on and people forget about Lyndon LaRouche, but the Greens aren't.

I truly love Donald Trump. I would never vote for him but I love him. He has done some spectacular things this election for which I will always be grateful. My favorite to date is what he has done with the Religous Right.

Set the scene...Trump is endorsed by Evangelical leaders. Nevermind he struggles with faith questions and his favorite Bible verse is "an eye for an eye". Nevermind he refers to "Second Corinthians" as "Two Corinthians". Nevermind he is twice divorced and an admitted adulterer. Nevermind he has allegedly stolen money from his own charitable foundation.

They endorsed him enmass and then the video comes out and he brags about sexually assaulting women.

And the best part...most of the Religous Right stick with him.

Clinton by contrast has stuck to her marriage despite her husband's infidelity and has had behavior consistent with her professed Methodist beliefs for decades and the right paint her as a Godless, Marxist harlot.

This is beautiful because the Religous Right are the modern day Pharisees. They are the hypocrites. They chose Donald Trump as the harbinger of "family values". That will follow them forever.

I love Donald Trump because he exposed the Religous Right for what they are...an anti abortion and anti gay movement. Those are the only things they really care about and they will vote for ANYONE as long as they are aligned with them on abortion and gays.

I know there are exceptions, and I respect their principles, but the movement has been made into a laughing stock by one man. My own orange hero. The Donald. The guy who could say or do anything at this point and still have the support of the "traditional values" coalition. There has to be a God.

How about if we vote people in for issues such as youth disease rates. Youth suicide rates. Elderly care expenses. Disability/handicapped reforms. Unwanted Crime. Pollution. Smog control. Clean waters/pipes/. All the Boards.. BOE, BOWater, BODefense, BOAgriculture, BOPsychiatry, BOTravel/public transportation, BOPublic Safety.... etc....
what if people got voted in for having an opinion on those issues as well as individual, adult aged, personal issues regarding personal sexualities? How about BOPublicSafety. BOPublicPeace?

If the gay population of America is around 10 percent and if the threat of terrorism in America is less than the threat of personal car accidents, are we supposed to run around looking for the, less than 25 or so percent, of Americans who are supposedly taking over homes and businesses for their own pleasures?

But look. You cannot DENY that something strange has been going on... There is no Denying it. And so where is that 'strangeness' coming from?? From Congress?

Of course we are going to have to move onward regardless of what we want to do... But what's this strangeness?? Weird..... Unexplainable or just flat down, Unexplained, and not to be Explained. Keeping people in the dark.. The only thing I know is that my computer keeps wigging out as if it has it's own brain and desires.

You know, and I believe God is kind of used to this, that whenever there is the 'unexplained', whether it be good or bad, God is always the first One to get accused. Mostly for the bad though.. Rarely for the Good.

Giving thanks to God through Jesus in the good days and the Good times, even if you are drinking in a bar, will let Him know you are on His side. And when the bad days and the bad times come rolling by, and they do, He will remember your acknowledgement to Him.

But how likely is it that you will even remember to do such if you've been out partying for years and years and having forgotten to do so at one time in the past?

You know what they used to say.. Bad habits don't pop up overnight.

For some reason or the other, God has and is getting 'the' bad wrap. Probably because of some lying rumor or something.

Who would even want to spread such lying rumors and lies about God in the first place? Don't they have better things to do than to spread rumors and lies?

Think of all the unnecessary murder all because of a rumor and a lie.

John 16:2
"They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service."

key words: 'will think that' - - - false belief

Did Jesus know that Islam would be formed much later when He said this?

Islam was formed over 600 years after Jesus ascended.....

To some, spreading rumors and lies is called evangelism. Just sayin'......
