If you believe there is a Satan and a God, which entity would you say is winning so far?
To help you decide, if you had a glass full of clean water but the glass was filthy, would you drink from it?

If that was the only water I had? Yeah, sure. Water is life, bro.

As for this so called war between God and Satan....and who is winning, lol? I seem to recall that God is all powerful. There is no winning or lose, only won or lost, and an all powerful being can't lose anything.

I believe there is a Satan and God, and yes it does look like that Satan is winning so far. Looks like.
However, for someone to be "winning," there has to be a contest to be won, right? Is there really a contest? I don't think so.

As a believer in the existence of God and the biblical Satan, I wouldn't say Satan is winning. It's more like......things are unfolding as they should (based on the prophecy in the New Testament). We are witnessing the prophecy coming true.
That there are many who are turning away from God, or straying away from the narrow path....is supposed to happen. Furthermore, the world wouldn't be called Satan's "playground" or that Satan is "prince" of this earth, or "god of this world," for nothing.

2 Cor 4
3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

John 12
30 Jesus said, “This voice was for your benefit, not mine. 31 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.

Ephesians 2
3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

So, when the Bible says that Satan is the "god of this world," it is not saying that he has ultimate authority. It is conveying the idea that Satan rules over the unbelieving world in a specific way. In 2 Corinthians 4:4, the unbeliever follows Satan's agenda: "The god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ." Satan's scheme includes promoting false philosophies in the world—philosophies that blind the unbeliever to the truth of the Gospel. Satan’s philosophies are the fortresses in which people are imprisoned, and they must be set free by Christ.

How is Satan god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4)?

Victory has already been achieved in the death and Resurrection of Christ. Satan tried to stop that by his failed attempt to tempt Jesus in the dessert.
Now, that was a "contest" between the two. It was a one-on-one in the wilderness. Satan was clearly the loser. How do we know?
The Resurrection of Christ.

Game over. And Satan knows that.

The score is 42.

After 6000 years of play you'd have thought it'd would have reached a penalty shootout already.

Romantic philosophy has been obsessed with various proofs of God since Plato. Among these are the arguments of first cause, and the arguments of purpose and organization, and the arguments of aesthetics.

Technical philosophy has been obsessed that there is no evidence either way of a God and thus only the revelation fall back is available to the Catholic philosophers who are romantics not technical.

Practical philosophy argues that it does not matter if there is a God/God(s) or not because ethical behavior is universally right.

I believe in Catholic Romantic philosophy, in first cause, and in aesthetics. Ergo I also believe in God(s).

The oldest surviving religion (not philosophy) is Zoroastrianism (Persian) and it teaches that there must be an opposition in all things and is so.

Ergo you must believe in a Devil if you also believe in God(s).

The Hebrew and Greek Bibles (Old and New Testaments) both teach of God(s) and Devils.

Ok now that this has been settled, at least, who is winning so far?

Aristotle who was a student of Plato who was a student of Socrates taught (unlike Plato and Socrates) that the strongest will always win.

God(s) is/are the strongest since He/She/They are the creators, therefore they appear to be the strongest.

At any given time in history Devils may appear to have complete sway over parts of the Earth however.

I believe much of America, Ireland, Israel, Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Scotland, Italy, India, and parts of the rest of the world are firmly in the hands of God(s).

I think China, North Korea, most of Africa, most of Arab Middle East, most of Persian Middle East are all satanic. Ergo "The Satanic Verses." These places have no sense of human rights only power struggles and violent dogma's about their own superiority.

Russia and Eastern Europe are a toss up. Czech Republic and Romania seem to be doing well. Pakistan and Turkey also seem to have peace also to a very large extent.

So you would need a score card to see who is winning.

That's my score card.

Exactly.

Satan is cast down into the Pit at the end of the age. God wins.

When there is no more mans inhumanity to man only then God can declare victory so until then we will continue to petition the gods for decency and continue to be denied.
