(CNN)There will be blood in September -- literally, according to the Internet postings of end-times believers.The night of September 27-28 will bring a "blood moon." To skywatchers, it simply refers to the copper color the moon takes on during an eclipse, but to some Christian ministers, the fourth and final eclipse in a tetrad -- four consecutive total lunar eclipses, each separated by six lunar months -- fulfills biblical prophecy of the apocalypse.

At some point we really need to evaluate all the times and all the reasons that humanity designs prophecy, only to find we are still here time and time again. It is the inherent danger from humanity and the systems of belief that conjure up things like this, only made worse when prophecy turns to self-fulfilling prophecy. It is one of the biggest dangers humanity does to itself, instill such emotion over a monumental event for seemingly no good reason that never seems to happen anyway. Worse, so many buy into it to the point of irrational decision leading up to all the times someone clown has suggested the apocalypse.

At least the idea of some idiot drinking tainted milk and starting a zombie apocalypse is entertaining to think about, but this 4th blood moon end-times **** is just nonsensical garbage.
 
The scientific illiteracy of the fundies is amazing. This is no different than some primitive tribe worshiping the sun or sacrificing virgins.

We are not fully protected from blood moon, terrorists, hackers, nuclear war but we are 100% protected in our under arms. Odd don't you think?
 
When the moon is in the Seventh House and Jupiter aligns with Mars then peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars..........
