I heard about a cult in Florida in the 30's I think that practiced strict abstinence.
When the story ran, there were still a few old one left, but they were the last.
I suspect this movement will pass, within this very generation!

might be

they got the majority of new members from orphanages. When that stopped...not many other people could 'see the truth' and become abstinent. Orgasms are from the devil don't ya know.

There is not philosophy in this, as far as I can see, it's just religion.

Move it if you wish but you know it belongs only in the religion section.

No chance of these followers becoming Pope now, they do an examination and check that the Pope is well hung. It is necessary for the supposedly abstaining Pope to have a full set of tackle to abstain with.
