Physics teacher here.

Doniston, you might want to do some fact-checking with modern science. You seem to be mixing up a lot of basic terminology (protons vs positrons), using terminology that is years out of date (I had to look up 'negatrons'...) and mixing up a lot of ideas - for example, string theory is a mathematical hypothesis with zero supporting empirical evidence which, while it does propose multiple dimensions, in no way proposes other universes that you could see with a telescope.

It's great to see people with an interest in science, but less heartening when they insist that their misconceptions are accurate.

EDIT: Also, having the chance to finally agree with paleocon on anything whatsoever is giving me a happy :p
 
Dangit. I keep tuning into this thread thinking it will be a cool Star Wars topic...

I think I read somewhere in there about Megatron. Not sure if he is referring to a Transformer or an under-performing Detroit Lion wide receiver.

Did you read what you just wrote? (string theory is a teory, many world is a take off, and i realize it is a theory or I woold;t have refered to it as String "THEORY" Did I say there was proof???

The fist question, Maybe because the links are not important for me to form my "OPINIONS" and I have been arround. sufficient to know about these things, and without needing to be reminded by the "LINK" if links are required for you to read my posts, then don't, it's as simple as that.

It is not unexpected as ar as I am concerned, I am a maveric, an my views are very controversial. so I expect it. wait till they dig into Instalment 2.

as for your false opinionated comment, I am not especially looking for your type of reaction, tho it is expected, I am imparting certain information which admittedly is controversial, and out of the main stream. For a room supposedly for atheists, there seems to be an awful lot of diehard so-called Christians, at least ones who believe in the Trinnity.

Of course not, you are putting 2 and 2 together an ending up with 16 or so. That statement has absolutely nothing to do with string theory they are two entirely different situations, Theory, vs scientific examination of the cosmos which has nothing to do with string or alternate worlds. which is what string theory is all about.
